Not at all mate, I think your ECU may have a piggy back or false boost reading from the dyno or something as 93 bhp gain from an unmapped decat and FMIC @1bar is a bit extreme.
Aren't your fuel pump or injectors close to maxed out? More than likely. :D It's probably due a fuel pump to be honest, the Walbro thats in there now has been there since 2005/6. :D |

Days runs.
Might be of interest to someone that; the 0-60ft of 2.26 got me a 0-60mph of 5.2 secs the 0-60ft of 1.79 got me a 0-60mph of 3.8 secs https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...pslouaihqh.jpg What's Dialin? How would I figure out a 0-60 time from that? Mind I had a full tank and full weight apart from back seats and not jack or spare wheel, apart from that everything's there inc the hefty 6 speed lol. But your 60ft time is decent |
Also, Matt, if was running more boost, then I'd have more torque.......

Busta, on my 12.4s run at Elvington, I did a 1.74s 60ft.
Attachment 25375 I appear to be missing a timeslip from the scans I took of them, as one is number run 19, but, I only have 18 slips scanned. :( Attachment 25376 Attachment 25377 |
Not bad dude

I don't think it would have went any faster as it was. Now that it's a heavier car, I doubt it would go as fast. I'd still beat Matt in a straight race, though. :D |
Micky
What power did you do the 12.46 in? It's a very good time vs the terminal. |

York Raceway today, 12c and cold 20mph headwind, no excuses though as I was still expecting the Nankang tyres to come up trumps but tbh the wheelspin was far more pronounced, I'm guessing they need a lot of heat in them to out perform budget sport tyres at launch. Still I managed a personal best in the 0-60mph (3.84 secs) and 0-60 foot (1.75 secs) times.

Lol
Some very powerful Audis running this aft |
12th (X201) out of 44 cars, not bad. My low terminal speed compared to others in the list just highlights my lack of BHP.

Who's topping that list?
Looks like they slowed down and still got a 9.3!!! |

Matt, have you a link to those results? Can't seem to find them on York Raceway's site.
The car in position 1 has done an 8.5 there before. |
Remind me what power is the car running now and rough weight?

What tyre PSi did you have for your run Mick? Whatever pressure was in them when I got there, it's not something I ever check. :D |

Took a lot of digging, but, my car number at York Raceway is/was X903. :)

This is car CCA5 topping that list!
Attachment 24901 This is car PRO888 2nd on the list. Attachment 24902 Pictures borrowed from here: http://rdsmith.zenfolio.com/northern-spring-nats-2017 |
I like the pics Richard Smith takes at the Raceway, he captured this of me leading an 11.4 second Audi!
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...e0fd6aedf9.jpg The (500bhp?) Audi could only manage a best 0-60 foot on the day of 1.73 so I'm guessing the cold headwind and 12c temp did effect launching. |

Still 332/307 and weight around 1280kg, gonna get it on a weighbridge eventually. Can't knock the 12.4 though. |
Just beat my 12.44....
12.42!!! I get too much wheelspin to improve my take off, the better tyres haven't done anything, so the goal is to sneak a 12.3 |

I'd say you've got some terminal left in that then. You ought to stick a camera in the car so we can see how you're shifting etc.
Can't knock the 12.4 though. |
New record time

Did you back it up? :p
