Totally agree with Blowdog.

THe dealers are greedy scumbags (well the ones I've spoken to). Offered me 12K for my 4000 mile V reg MY99 4 door with a/c and leather (UK spec import).

I'm fed up with all this nonsense- basically they are trying to make money for nothing. I'm going to keep mine until I get banned.

Get this, a friend of mine is buying a TT. Big Audi dealer tells him that it's a 1 year waiting list, but a "mate" of his has a fully loaded one for list price (£32k). He comes back but "oh I'm afraid he sold it", however "I really want you to have a car...." and he tells him he's got 4 coming in from the continent! AND he's selling them for UK list price! This is a f**ing sales manager for a main dealer. They're going to end up on the forecourt at UK list and make him even more money!!!

Extraordinary. Wonder what trade in someone with a Euro TT would be offered by this scumbag. I'm soreley tempted to shop him to Audi. If this isn't stealing someone elses cake, eating it, then making them pay for it, I don't know what is.

Chaps,

I was offered 22K trade-in for my 6000 mile RB5 against a P1, with the current state of the market I didn't think this was to bad.
To be honest I don't think owning a ltd edition has any more financial benefits these days than a standard model because of the amount of scoobys on the market, even more so with the release of the P1.
Still haven't made up my mind on the P1 yet.

Regards,

Rob.
