Tacky, IMO simply because you can get the same style light clusters for almost every common car on the road, so only as unique as the next person who wants a "different" look on their car. Plus they don't look right on a classic either.

Now if that style light was unique to that make and model car, then perhaps it would have some worth and individualism to it. But its not. It's a lexus light cluster on a scooby (or saxo, or astra, or focus....). As orginal and unique as a well, err, a Lexus! ;)

I like them in certain situations, like j4mou's case, they suit the look he's going for, each to their own, they wouldnt suit the look I want to go for, mine have to be STI rears:D, others would just make the car look stupid:nono:, an experiment gone wrong , i like j4mou's look, but if i hadwanted thst I wouldnt be driving a late model tarmac terrorising rally looking STI RA would I?:rolleyes: there isnt a an option on this poll,:confused: for me, so I cant vote!:eek:

scooby-girl asked for opinion on lexus lights, I complied and gave her mine. you chose to comment on my answer rather than the original question posed...still with me (;)). I guess I did take um bridge at that point and responded (rather wittily I thought too!)...now I really don't care what anybody runs on their car in fact I rather like seeing the occasional set of lexus\afterburner stylee lights because quite frankly I don't know whether to laugh or cry, they are sooo out of place. I guess that must mean I'm not a "small minded little pr1ck" after all?

They are poo! Don't suit the lines of the car at all. You'd also be as well grafting on the front lights from a Lada just complement the cackness of em!

Awful, embarassingly chavtastic.

They suit the Lexus as it has the two round reds on the bootlid to offset them. Wife has an is200 and the lights look good on it. Must admit I'm not too keen seeing them on a Scoob.

What I mean is Flamer kits and vinyls are considered 'chav' mods in the same way as lexus lights.

There must be a new modding scene whereby you take a car which looks okay and do everything you can to make it look $hite. Top of the list is the rear lights. A couple of cowpats stuffed in that area would look nicer lol!

no point in asking **** like that on here. if your into moding then youll get branded a chav, boy racer or just a tit. the majority of scooby owners (can spell) think a gold (gay) set of 17's will "do"! anything else is just gunna look like r2d2 to them. personaly i think chrome lights look good on a white wrx only / afterburners on any colour car when colour coded. fer gods sake dont ask about dumpvalves!:norty:

i think only certain cars can get away with it and has to a culmination of other efforts.

e.g. massive wheels would look rubbish without lowering, or a huge rear wing would look rubbish if the rest of the car didnt have the same ott 'ness. Lexus lights are in the boat.

but it is your car, do what you want, can allways take em off if your not satisfied

All a matter of taste, the sti ones do look nice, but i cant be arsed to spend out on something that wont make the car more pleasing to my eye. They do ones that are similar to honda s2000 ones too. But as everyone else has said, it dont matter what we think, if you like em buy em and be happy!:idea:
