If it doesn't sell I will have to do that I suppose.
David's spoken to me.

911 30 August 2007 06:09 PM

Off to the top, Snet moving fast today :D

This car will be racing at Prescott Hillclimb near Cheltenham this weekend and Shelsley Walsh the following one if you want to see it in action.

Mark A 30 August 2007 10:10 PM

Buy the only Subaru sponsored by Age Concern ;)

911 30 August 2007 10:15 PM

I nearly won the class for the over 50's, sponsored by SAGA would you believe, but Roy Standly won and really didn't want to collect the trophy (which was NOT a gold plated Zimmer).

Hill climbing was for the gentlemen of the sport,, but fast Imprezas have seen to that!

I think modified cars scare some people...

Let's hope a hillclimber buys the Fast One this weekend.
:D

This must be the strangest 'For Sale' thread ever?
Bit typical of the whole Scooby thing really.

Mark A 30 August 2007 11:18 PM

Don't you mean Saga Louts

911 31 August 2007 05:34 PM

To the top of the page again.

Maybe you are all scared of a fast Impreza?
:D

Mark A 31 August 2007 07:09 PM

:Suspiciou Where!

BTTT:
Going well at Prescott hillclimb, and a few 'nibbles' at the car and swop/sale 'projects' one is just right.

CarMan 03 September 2007 06:24 PM

A really super car, properly and carefully prepared by a very genuine fella - fast too!

911 03 September 2007 10:33 PM

Thanks Rob.
Was made an offer last night for the full 12K but I had to refuse it.

1
Can't find anything else that 12K will help buy that meets my 'dream'
2
After all the graft, bloody hard to part with!

Now what do I do?

Mark A 03 September 2007 11:08 PM

You do the right thing :brickwall

I'm sure Rob misses his white Impreza;)

911 04 September 2007 06:53 AM

As he said to me on sunday:

'Unfinished Business'

Diesel 04 September 2007 09:11 PM

LOL! Nice to see a seller wasting a buyers time. Sweet irony!

D

911 04 September 2007 10:34 PM

You do not know the circumstances.
I actually know the 'buyer' well and 'saved' him £11K as he is now fixing his car for £1K as i thought he would save his car easy.

I certainly did not waste his time, but as a friend of his, saved him spending a lot of money needlessly.

Those are the facts.

johnfelstead 06 September 2007 03:27 PM

I dont think Graham got the joke Diesel. ;) Hope you are OK m8! :)

911 06 September 2007 10:15 PM

No, I didn't.
Not in a very good frame of mind recently.

Asti:
Fully understand what you say, but i need 4 doors to get the slicks out of the back....
You have a great car for sale.

I dont think he did either J, so I thought I'd shut up (for once);) I was considering having a look at the car as the trackday bug may have bitten again. I think I will be driving a younger EVO 7 home within a matter of 2 hours. Gulp! You must come and play if i do!

Good luck with the sale/keeping G ;)

911 09 September 2007 08:23 PM

I meant no offense to you.

This weekend has seen me 'racing' handle to handle with the blue Zen TA car.
That car has about 700 bhp/tonne and I have 300 bhp/tonne, f!ck me it friggin fast.

I really am tempted to keep the STi and roach it free of any excess and pop a forged 2.5/ppg in it to move on.

A lot to consider over the next few weeks.

I have actually TURNED-DOWN an offer of £12K for the car which must mean it will be staying and you lot will suffer more endless pages of bumpf about it.....

johnfelstead 09 September 2007 08:56 PM

Back in some jap crap again D, top job. :D I'll have to pop down when i get a minute. Not much of them for a while yet but when the racing stops i'll be in touch. :)

The Zen car goes quite nicely doesnt it. :D

911 09 September 2007 09:54 PM

No.
Very nicely imho! But you know better than I!
:D

APIDavid 11 September 2007 11:35 AM

bump

911 11 September 2007 01:03 PM

Thank you for the free bump David.

Absolutly no interest on Snet/22B for this car except a few asking about how I did this n that.

I am now going to go on hols for 2 weeks to think a few ideas through, but the very hot fav is to gut it and make a real hillclimb focused car of it, and if I can still keep it 'roadable; so much the better.

This will mean a year of work/spending and I'll race my trusty 911 in 2008 to keep my hand in.

A 500 x 500 2.5/ppg/6 speeder and glass doors/perspex windows excet for the screen with a weight target of 1000Kg.

That should be enough to frighten me and the track marshals.

If you can't beat them, join them.

Graham.

You should have seen Rob fly at Shelsley Martin, bloody awsome, 600+ bhp/tonne. That is 2 x my Sti.
