only kidding, get the tool. i've done the above way before and also just use a big screwdriver and eyed it. best to have the right stuff though if it's the first one you've done :thumb: |
bought an alignment tool today, not sure what do do with it though, there are lots of twidly bits on it :wonder:

short version, it goes through the hole in the pressure plate and the clutch and onto the centre of the fly wheel. making them all line up so that they are balanced.
bit more involved than that but that's the basics. |

just had a fiddle and sussed it, it grips the friction plate to the pressure plate untill its bolted up, then all come apart.

Engine and gearbox all in now, new racing clutch fitted. Few probs to overcome but its getting there now :) Really wished i had labled all plug and connectors before removing them, oh well you live and learn. |
