Or discovered a wonderful thing called the interweb. You can shop without being battered by trollies and neurotic women.
Aside from porn, this the best thing to have ever come about on the net :D... no more mingling with the goddamn awful general public! |
As already said, if you think a type was bad, just wait til you drive the westie!
 Thousands of people have been perfectly happy with the type r. Have you considered that it maybe you're driving skills letting the side down? Not having a dig, just trying to warn you before you go from a fairly driver friendly car such as the type r, to the mad 'bite your head off when your not looking' westie. :D |

I should've done more research and found out that the DCCD can only be operated up to the first orange light in dry conditions.

Why you coming back on here you amateur driving Troll,You obviously didn't know how to drive back then and you certainly won't now when you have your active yaw on the evo doing all the work! now FCUK OFF and shut the door behind you it's getting cold in here :hjtwofing
|
maybe some of you should read the date on the original post ;)
welcome back, would be more like it ;) which evo have you got now? |
You waited 3 YEARS to reply.Man you know how to hang on to things.BYE
|
Lol at finding a type r too much of a handful, you weren't running winter tyres or some other ditch finders were you? I agree they are a different handling beast to the normal impreza and you were probably right about the engine reliability in classic sti's though.
What evo do you have? I've had a couple now and always miss the character of the impreza and end up back in one, I usually say to the mrs "next time I decide to sell the impreza for an evo, don't let me" The evo is a good car but the whole feel of the drive and steering just feels too light and over assisted for me. |
i had an evo 6 and not a touch on any scoob imo, had a type r too much better impreza to drive with the rear kickin out :)
|
So once again , which evo did u get in the end?
|
Scotia White IV GSR with black-painted Evo VI alloys.
But with a fully built, forged VII engine. Running 365/398 (clutch slipping slightly on the dyno) on a Evo IX 20g tubby, mapped by Rich at RG Motorsport. |

What's all this troll business? Simply because I didn't favour my Type-R's handling traits and the fact that they're one of the worst models to suffer engine failure you choose to insult me in a childish manner. Most immature.:nono: |

Nah, the tyres on the Impreza were S0 2 bridgestone's I recall. I felt I couldn't trust the rear of my Impreza. On wet, or roads that were damp/greasy that rear used to kick alot. It wasn't enjoyable, it was down right annoying. I wanted it to grip and go. I believe what critics say about the car being much better on track and not suffer understeer. But that didn't suit corners with tight and sharp exits on the public roads. I'd of been much happier with a neutral feeeling to the car. |
firstly goodbye you troll and secondly welcome back you traitor lol the impreza is piss easy to drive yeah ive had some moments behind the wheel of mine but on a whole i cant say a bad word about them now you have an evo . BIG mistake there excellent cars but the only problem with them is a chimp could drive one of those the car does it all for you so but then again loosing an impreza in the dry your gonna need all the help you can get. now if you ditch the evo and live to tell the tale get yourself a bus pass its all over for you

Attempting to insult people must make you feel real proud eh? Or perhaps its you that feels insulted that I've moved on to a different car. Blinkered with tunnel vision. Yes, I do like my Lancer IV but just like the Impreza it isn't without it's faults, just as any car is. You can't say about word about Impreza's...most amusing! and most foolish!:cuckoo:
|
lmao. what an exciting thread.
|
I cant understand why everyone got on their high horse just because you moved away from the marque! all you did was give an honest opinion and yet by the comments left it's like you insulted their children. I dont blame you for moving away from a fast deteriorating badge mate;)
|
Sounds like you purchase a bad grape out of the bunch matey sadly.
Wish you all the best. Steve |
What was it about the elise you didn't like ? Was it an s1 or s2 ?
