this is funny reading this as i have same problem in my 07 wrx

problem went away when i put 2 new pirelli front tyres on and the wheels balanced also new front pads, could be down to lowering your car and the camber setting is off and needing your wheels balanced. thats where i went wrong got teins put in months later had it up on ramp inside of front tyres where bald because of camber setting was off from lowering it, so got 2 new front tyres and wheel alinement and blanced and they are fine now.

Balance has nothing to do with symertrical running, jack your car up put it on axil stands, get someone to sit in the car and drive it thro gears, observe the wheels,if they are running dead true start looking for slack while car is in the air,a runout of 1mm ok anything else, replace, rim tyre.My Bugeye had Bridestones fitted,I told the fitter to check the rim for running true íf anyboubt dont fit.Well I picked the car up went for a run 80mph vib+shake, went back to the garage and was told tyre need to settle in,what crap so I made them take all the wheels off and balance again guess what apart from bad balance one wheel was 3mm run out-ie bent rim,so I balanced the wheels myself putting bad rim on the rear, now I have slight vib on rear not to bad,the problem with tyre muppet they dont realise if a tyre/rim does not run true the reaction to car sus is very bad.We balance engine bits so why are so neg about our wheels, think about it.If you forget to put a washer under a retaining bolt on a clutch the radial load at 5000rpm is over a hundredweght.Scooby suspension is very tight and unforgiving that is why we love them,so if every part is not 100% failiure will result.

that have already been done, paul from 555, got his son in the car on the ramps driving it and it got him puzzled,

i just took it down to scoobyclinic, as local places couldn't help
if its too expensive i could be getting rid of it for a different car.

if its a reasonable price i'm gonna get it sored and have my vf35 fitted :)

hi guys, just a quick comment , my car developed this problem after fitting some locking nuts from halfords as they are a fair bit heavier than standard nut, so check it bro!
