Despite how many people don't like the idea of plasti dip I did my last RX8 in a number of colours (settled with matt black in the end, kinda batmobile esq) and for the price and simplicity it's great stuff.
I had it on for almost 18 months before selling the car and protected the paint well, it is so much easier to care for as no need to wax the car after a clean to get looking good and as has been said can peel off no probs when you get bored. I've got a few ideas for mine so may have a play about one weekend in the future. |
personally I think there are very few cars that can get away with being matt to start with, then the next thing is they need to be modified with larger wheels and slammed, give the aggressive look the matt paint portrays,

If you sort your fog light covers, took those crappy LED strips out, it would look better. Overall, I wouldn't pick it for my car but if you're happy then that's surely all that matters. Least you can peal it off if you do change your mind.

https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...7f54e15a3b6efb XDevil666 the RX8 was a great car, so much pub talk about the rotary engine failing all the time but tbh it's no different to the scaremongering and constant posts on here with piston slap, the 2.5 engine or bottom end problems. Great fun on track but a tad under powered but bang for buck it was a v good car. |

Well this was mine with absolutely no modifications to it apart from matt paint and re-done wheels. Did it all myself so didn't cost a fortune and imo looked good (sits back and waits for trolls :hjtwofing)
FFS why can't posters like you and XDevil get that through your heads? |

That isn't too bad apart from the Kermit explosion on the wheels, just think how great it would of looked if you got the wheel design and colour right? |
Not really a fan looks cheap and i don't really like the colour, but each to there own its your car.

I am most grateful for your schooling in correct forum terminology and shall ensure correct reference to trolls, haters, and persons with different opinions to my own from now on.
The "kermit explosion" wheels were rather unsurprisingly a marmite style, some hated but equal numbers loved. For me it was a bit of fun before eventually going with gloss black wheels. |
rx would look better without the 4x4 suspension
