Don't know if it's been mentioned already, but I used Postvan.com to collect wheels from the last group buy. They charge about £15+VAT for each single package up to 30kg. I e-mailed them and asked about uplifting 4 x P-WRC1 wheels.

They told me to ask the person at the collection end to wrap 3 wheels together (as long as them combined wasn't over 30kg) and they would treat it as two collections from the same location. Charged me for a 30kg collection and a smaller < 10kg collection for all 4 wheels. A bit confusing at first, but cost me around £28 to have them collect the wheels from a Subaru dealer in the North of England and deliver them to me in Edinburgh.

Most expensive part is usually the uplift, but if the sender can just arrange a normal delivery himself it should work out cheaper.

Just got one price back for the TOYO's

225/40/18 t1s delivered £95 each inc vat for 20 or more

R888 are £115

Still waiting for two more quotes that should be a bit cheaper.

Has anybody used the R888's yet???

Hi Jason,

So how many people are getting wheels now then?
Is it just the soft southerners that have pulled out?

I am ready to go.....my tyres are so bald they make racing slicks look like snow tyres!!!!

Many thanks

Hi Jason

Don't know if you can order just one but I need a replacement for a WR1?

Let me know

Lee

Nevetas 04 September 2004 12:03 AM

I;m pretty sure these wheels in bright flitter are not EXACTLY the same colour as a WR1. For that I think you need to give your WR1 engine number and order direct?

Could be wrong though! :D

jaycee 04 September 2004 12:23 AM

One rim is no problem but I'll ask the dealer regarding the WR1 colour. Let you know later today.

Jason

jaycee 04 September 2004 10:48 AM

Lee, the person I need to speak to isn't in til Monday.

Jason

STILee 04 September 2004 11:58 AM

ok thanks Jason...

jaycee 06 September 2004 03:02 PM

Lee, they'll supply the wheel for WR1 for £222.30 +VAT and need your chassis number before they can order it.

Jason

jaycee 08 September 2004 10:27 AM

********URGENT********

Anybody interested in these wheels please contact me asap as the dealer will pull the price if we don't get some more ordered. :(

Simon, your wheels will be at the dealers Thursday/Friday so I'll pick 'em up and get them sent on.

Mark, taking your cheque up today and hoping he'll let it go through.

Where did all the people go who said they wanted them???????????
