lol, like I said previous lets hope for the Sony fans that they treat Europe the same as they will with the the US etc, well to be honest with you I couldn't give a sh1t if they dont release it till late 2006 !!!!!

it just looks to me that MS let their product do the talking. They made no wild claims etc and have brought the product to the market in the time frame they said and at a good price.
Sony however want about making wild claims and tried to rubbish a competitor with nothing of their own to back it up. I much prefer how MS have gone about it. |
Yep I agree all Sony did at the recent German computer show was a presentation for the PSP which we all know athe in's & outs of already, and showed bars and graphs and diagrams displaying Sony's dominance in the world of videogames !!, then at at the end of an hour up popped a picture of the PS3 saying " see you next year ".
Lol what a joke even Konami didn't show anything of Metal Gear Solid 4, they said we intend to show you not only a teaser but something from PS3 in Toykyo !!!!! |

Although XBox live is great it doesnt keep me coming back for more like the PS2 all IMHO. I used to be a staunch Sony/Playstation supporter, but not any more as the only joker that the PS has is Gran Turismo, and they never change enough in each incarnation these days to warrant being Playstation biased. I'd rather have both systems and have the choice, but the Xbox is a better system, and as for the old argument of PS having better games, that doesnt really stand anymore, even PES is on the Xbox, so the only exclusive game is GT4, and thats average. My PS2 rarely gets used these days, except for GTA/GT4. I think Xbox will win the new round of console wars, especially as they have released the price and are taking pre-orders. With no PS3 news anywhere people will just get the Xbox 360, like myself, in time for Xmas. By the time PS3 is released people will have spent their console budget this time round. I will buy a PS3 when it reaches £120 or so. |

Personally I'm not interested in the debates. I will buy the XBOX360 (in fact already pre-ordered it) because it's the latest thing and I will do like wise with the PS3. I'm a greedy git I know, but when something new comes out I MUST buy it whatever! :D

One of the rumors floating around is that backwards compatibility will only work with a hard drive, which would have left Core systems out in the cold. As it turns out, that's only partially true. In many cases, the hard drive will indeed be necessary because you'll need an Xbox emulator file to sit on the hard drive and make your Xbox games 360-friendly. However, our understanding is that this isn't perfectly foolproof, and that it may not work in every single case. Select premium titles in the present and future are getting special treatment. We've learned that Microsoft is inviting some developers to make their unreleased Xbox titles backwards compatible for both 360 SKUs. Teams from Microsoft are helping developers with the project. But resources are limited, so only triple A titles will get this kind of attention, and only products coming out in the window after the Xbox 360 announcement. |

Project Gotham 3 Not Ready For Xbox360 Launch?

The answer: most everyone there at EAX doesn’t expect PGR3 to make launch. Also, PGR3 is very ambitious, and from what they’ve seen it won’t make launch. Most of them expect it to be in the second wave of 360 titles, along with Gears of War. |

Just preordered at Game as most onliners are sold out. Not overly worried about backwards comp as I doubt I will play that many although a new version of top spin wouldl be tip top. Only ordered PGR3 as I will have a brain overload with too many games.
Roll on November Oh crap..just read above re PGR3. Considering this is their most prestige launch title it will be a massive balls up if its not ready. |

In the past Play always take 3 days to deliver and I will not shop at Amazon on principal after I paid for next day delivery and it took 3 days then they had the cheek to refuse to refund the next day delivery costs !!!
