You may have seen the car, its a deep mica blue classic UK std turbo model MY00 (apart from STI back box), the reg ends in CYG you may have seen it about in the holiday periods. I spoke to him this evening and told him about the get together, he has just been over in the IOM the last few days but he was flying this time.

Myself and mags are going to try and get over, but I have to photographph a wedding on the Saturday afternoon so it will be late Saturday evening when we arrive.
Then time for us all to have a good run round on the Sunday.
I wonder how many cars there will be !!!

Last Sundays midlands run will take some beating (fantastic)

To all you smacs guys that we met here on the sunny IOM, it was great to meet you all and thanks for letting us join you. Should we ever make it to any meets in the uk or if you decide to come back for another visit it would be fun to catch up. Hope you all returned home safetly.

Not sure what the people who were actually over there from SMACS think, but at least a couple of us that didn't go on this occasion would be interested in making the trip out for Scoobyfest in August (?)(pending an OK from the boss for some days off!!).

Can somebody pm me the details (I'm baing lazy) and I'll maybe start a new thread in the Northern to gauge interest?

Great fun was had by all four of us Smacs (SteelX, cw42, jtb106 and Andy S) and thre rest of the guys that came over with us Stuart classic wrx, his brother in the 911 convertible, MarvSTi MY06Sti, Bruce in the mystery machine, and the Scottish crew Rog in the Evo and the 2 Porsche Guys.:)

The Smacs guys did a drive by for Jason (jtb106) on the mad mile up the mountain passed him at 135mph :lol1: (legally) LOL he nearly fell off his fence post he was stood on!! then the police man stopped to have a chat with him!!!
