To the top for monday.
People bothered this is a raced car?

The Fixer 22 October 2007 10:19 AM

 Graham, I thought you had an offer for the full asking price???? and then changed your mind????

911 22 October 2007 07:25 PM

True. Should have sold it there and then and moved on.

Didn't as I just felt it was giving the car way after just so much work to get it to where it is. It won me class and class record wins and First in Class in the National British Hillclimb Championship!

This is a good car and I'm a crap old driver!!

Difficult when you get 'attached' to cars that have rewarded so much.

£12K or I keep it and take it to 2.1/2.35 and all that entails.

Graham.

What you doing buying a CDB when you are selling your car??

Mark A

911 23 October 2007 07:20 AM

CDB was a bargain price, but the seller pointed out some damage to the one bore top that stopped me buying it.

Hedging my bets if you will.

Chance to get a CDB cheap incase the car doesn't sell and to build a big engine.

If the car sells, then I could sell the CDB easy.

On all accounts, back to square one.

FOR SALE, A FAST IMPREZA!

Very well modified car by all accounts, and a raced car would not bother me if it had been given the attention you have given it. I think the main problem is price, for 12k I'd personally want more than the subaru 4 pots, standard sti3 bottom end and unstrengthened 5 speed box.

911 23 October 2007 01:26 PM

Fair comment, and others might see it all the same way of course which I suspect is the case!
If I offered it for £3K someone would feel the same!

Have mercy, been a cr@p day!

CAR STILL FOR SALE TILL NEXT WEEK END

Danny Boy 24 October 2007 12:06 AM

Graham, personally i hope you don't sell it and just take it to the next level and suprise yourself how competative you'll be.

To anyone who is interested in Grahams car, after his very generous offer of a drive at curborough the other week i must say it's the best handling impreza i have driven by a long way and quite a different animal to my mildly modified uk MY00. It bought back memories of karting as it just went where you pointed it, just a bit bigger and alot faster!
A little bit more getting used to no ABS and all would be great ;)

A fab car maintained fastidiously, if someone wishes to part with 12K they won't be dissapointed, but i think somehow Graham will be.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do Graham.
Group but on engine parts?? :norty:

911 does not realise there is a scoobynet conspiracy against him where we have all agreed not to buy his car as we want him to stay and do the next level project ;)

Bloody conspiracy all right. Everyone is scarea to drive a sorted car that is fast! :D

Richard: I think my box is the same as yours?

If the car doesn't sell (soon) then one box option is a 6 speeder and both my boxes will be for sale!
