Engine and gearbox all in now, new racing clutch fitted.

Few probs to overcome but its getting there now :)

Really wished i had labled all plug and connectors before removing them, oh well you live and learn.

If its along the same lines as the old engine all the plugs etc should fall into the correct position approx with the loom in the correct place, if not HA HA have fun.. ;)

I managed to snap the ball off the end when dropping the engine in, trying to source one of these has been murder. Over £100 from Pug too :(

Adidas 10 November 2007 02:28 PM

Have you tried GSF, they're only 10 minutes down the road from you?

Adidas 10 November 2007 02:29 PM

GSF Car Parts Branch Maps

cookstar 10 November 2007 02:35 PM

Tried them just now, unfortunatly as i suspected, as was the case with ECP also, its too specialised. It looks like i may have to grind the remainer of the old one off, drill and bolt an aftermarket one on. :)

All good fun but its holding me up now

cookstar 10 November 2007 03:14 PM

A ball has snapped off, so a new ball to be sourced and secured on to it :)

cookstar 10 November 2007 03:24 PM
