I dont class a Impreza as a superb handling car. It does offer excellent grip and traction but not handling as standard. I think some people are getting these confused;)

having had many evo's and i do love them but they cost loads more to run than an impreza esp when they start breaking!!!!

having had an sti ra with dccd i found it was a really good handling car and i would stuggle to kick the rear out even in the wet as with the evo the back end will kick out when pushed as thats how ayc works!

Did you have any engine problems? Or did you just believe what the engine builders told you?
