I'm not exactly sure why you would want to know, and I'm not sure I want to share it on here. I hope that doesn't offend you?

I am happy to talk about it, but not exatly the type of thing SN needs to know.

I do think that this particular story is lacking somewhat, and in need of some facts, but in situations like this, that is usually quite difficult.

OMG you got me all wrong there. I mean that I wondered about the OPs story.

Jesus, I really recoiled with horror when I thought that you thought that I wanted to pry into your business. Sorry if it read that way.

I didn't pick you up that way either. It is obviously a very emotive subject for Hysteria, so she is bound to be sensitive about it.
She probably realises now, you did not aim your question at her :thumb:

Don't worry, it's my fault!

This is a difficult subject, I think mostly because the conflict of knowledge and the lack of makes it frustrating and also upsetting.

No, not at all.

I'm getting sly looks from Mr P as we are supposed to be watching a film, and I have been on and off my phone.
I told him what the thread is about and he had turned the film off. I suppose he knows I was a little distracted.

Thank you :)

This type of thing does get to me, this 'story' just doesn't seem right.

I feel for anyone in that situation, but it's as simple as this, people who have been in that situation know 100% they have been taken advantage of from the split second it happens.

Going by what the OP had told us, it seems more a case of a drunken fumble that was consenting, even if it didn't start 'conventionally'.

But let's be clear, she hadn't mentioned rape, so she may not feel that way about it.

I'm hoping that it can all get sorted out one way or another.

Sounds a bit strange, i have a few friends that can tell the odd beefed up story when it comes to it but to say the first girl was sleeping when he entered her is a bit iffy. My mr's know as soon as i touch her (ie not in a good way) lol. She awakes as soon as i even try to lift her nighty :norty: :(

As one who in the past has engaged in more one night stands than I care to recount (well in my past) when one or more girls invite you to join them in a taxi back to theirs it means only one thing, that your luck is in and sex is on offer. As reported by the OP, the lad was back at the home of one or both these girls.

There was alcohol involved all round - from personal experience alcohol has provided the catalyst for all manner of exploits (all legal) which I am pretty certain would not have been initiated in its absence.

There is every possibility that what took place in the earlier part of the evening was with full consent, after a bit of kip our man fancied another go on the merry-go-round, which is what has taken the young lady by surprise. Having been in this scenario, I can only comment that you read the situation as you see it, and know the risks. She will either enjoy the surprise and reciprocate otherwise you need to ensure you are sober enough to show some understanding should she say or indicate that the advances are unwanted.

To put my comments into some form of perspective, I lost a gf of 7 years and the mother of my son, when someone choose to take advantage of a situation were she had over done it with alcohol at a Christmas party. I believe she was raped, simply because having drank a lot in her company before we got together and after, I would describe her as predictable when drunk; laughing a lot, a little argumentative and opinionated, but always lucid and coherent, in seven years she never admitted to there being blanks in her recollection of any night out. On this occasion she did not know where she was, or how she got there, and there were blanks in her recollection of of what had happened. She could recall that she knew what was happening should not have been happening, but described the event as like being under an anesthetic; she was saying no, but couldn't hear herself say the words, she couldn't feel much yet seemed to have little or no control over her own actions.

There is no doubt in my mind that there were drugs involved in what happened to her, I remained around for long enough to see how deeply this affected her as a person, aside from the destructive impact that it had on our relationship. The reality is that I don't know what happened that night, I believed her when she said she had no recollection of exactly what happened. There were no indicators of violence, no indications of a struggle or resistance, but one very damaged person created as a result. My reason for posting this, is that prior to this occurrence, I would have said there are two sides to this story, in that only the male and females involved know what actually happened. Unfortunately it is possible that only one individual really knows what happened.

So does "starting the act" if the other person is asleep constitute rape..........when you're married????

Tragic :(
But the OP's mate, is an old bloke. Not some youngster.
I think he is fantasising and trying to look big. If the facts prove he did attack,(and that is what he did in effect) these girls, he needs to be brought to justice.
I very much doubt his story. Until we hear from the girls in question, I am inclined to think he has made the whole thing up to look like some kind of old stud.
Again, if he did do the deeds, he needs reported, pronto :thumb:

Sorry I was merely pointing out that the friend behind door one (the sleeping work mate), already seems to have a scary story which I'm guessing is about the "incident"........ so I cant see he's (distant grandad friend) making up everything about the "first encounter"........

So many gaps in this story.............
