Mazda sprint booked and payed for on the 27th at Blyton park , open pit lane in the morning and timed sprint in the afternoon looking forward to this one.

Car now ready for next weekends sprint just need to fuel up , hope it runs like it did at Mallory might get some good times

Weather looking cold and mainly dry on Saturday. Maximum temperature of 6. Blyton will feel like -6!
I'm hoping to pop up to Blyton at some point on Saturday, having followed your build I want to see you enjoying it. |

Well after a good couple of sessions in the wet, 3rd session couple of warm up laps went through the wiggle down into second and bang ... Gearbox gone 2nd gear actually so on the look out for a full 6 speed setup now, oh well it had to happen sooner or later

Is that going to be instead of the engine rebuild? I arrived just after midday, you had already left. The clouds darkened and the rain came, the organisers extended lunch until !4:00 Once the sprint actually started, the two wheel drive cars really struggled to get off the line. Blyton was incredibly cold, thermometer said 4C with wind chill it felt much colder. Nice MkI Escort Twin Cam out, although it looked like it was on forest suspension. Hopefully catch up with you next year. |
I get the 2 videos I took 1 you can clearly hear the box failing the other hit some black ice At bishops and did a 360... The box failed going through the wiggle couldn't handle the 430lb/ft ..!

Oh dear your def in the 6 speed territory at 430 ftlb. You got any more interior pics and of seats ?

Its better to go on the last event of the year and have the winter to sort the right box than to go on the first and have to rush into finding the right box :thumb:
