Guys I've come across a set of the pro r fog surround mesh grill in black. These are genuine items and still sealed. I never fitted them as I bought some genuine fog light covers. Please have a look at Hughy 's pictures above to see what they look like fitted. IMO along with the lower and upper front grill they help to finish the bumper off.

They retail for £59 so anyone want them for £25?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-SU...item3a752799cd

and here is a couple of pictures, as above i never fitted them so please look back a page at huhy's pictures for them fitted

I have put a lot of time into the car and spent a lot of money on it as those that have seen it can verify

The car is on a my60 plate it has 28k on the clock, full S/h and I got the car from Newcastle Subaru as it was there demo

Here is a list of mods and a few pic's, any advise on price and where the best place to sell if I do would be much appreciated,

I'm going for the S206 look for the rims and the closest I can find are BBS CH's and CH-R's in black and silver.

I always loved the look of my anthracite Turini's on my silver hatch but not 100% on them on the white saloon, when I got the car and it had the standard wheels fitted I thought the silver looked cleaner.

Will probably opt for 18's again as 19 inch BBS are a fair bit more, 2k plus with rubber!

Only other wheel I had my eye on was a 3SDM but I cannot get my head round swapping out a set of quality Speedlines for this make. Also needs to be on coilovers I think for such a concaved rim.
http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps0e5be307.jpg

Only real issue I have is neither of the BBS come in a Pcd of 114 so will have to be either redrilled or I'll have to use some special nuts, been told correct spigot ring will be supplied to centre the wheel on the hub and nuts will then just hold wheel to hub, anyone any experience of this set up as I have my concerns even though be told its safe.

Other thing is ET is 38 opposed to my Turini's which are 35 but only 3mm so not big issue!

What do you think on wheels and colour.

The black CH and both CH-R's come with a replaceable chrome lip so should a kerb get a bit close that can be replaced and not a full refurb!

And my car as it stands (well minus bottom line kit) to help you decide.

You know I cannot help it!

As for the wheels, could only find the S204 18's on the site and they come in at £676 each so lets say a little out of my price range, unless I just do the left side!

Had some new bits delivered today, should match the seats pretty well and are really good quality, need to wait for my paint to arrive though before I fit so I can redo the centre consol at the same time.

Redline Goods by any chance :D:thumb:

Abx 06 September 2013 02:10 PM

No a company caller Topgaiters, a Uk company which funnily enough I came across on NASIOC of all places, really nice product, if this quality of leather was used in the seats well....

Abx 06 September 2013 11:13 PM

Don, do you happen to have a link on removing the centre consol, gear knob etc, thanks.

Hi all. New to this so please bear with me. Can someone please recommend a decent reliable Subaru service centre near Sudbury, Suffolk or Colchester Essex for my 2005 Wrx Imp Turbo? Thanks in advance. Neal

If the handbrake gaiter hasn't been off before it can be very tight.............

I am with you on this Hughy. I have put 50k on mine and been looking but nothing hits the spot.

Abx 07 September 2013 09:24 AM

Cheers Don, that will do nicely.

abre 09 September 2013 07:07 PM

So how big is our fuel tank...

So the manual states we have a 60 litre tank and the warning light should come on when there are about 9 litres left :lol1:
But the most I've ever managed to brim mine with is 53 litres, even after doing 50 miles from the warning light coming on and with the needle sitting on the empty mark.
Now I don't like running to empty, but are the gauges that inaccurate that there can be near to 4 gallons left when the warning light makes its all too frequent return  is this typically what you all see on your cars, is it just another Subaru quirk?
Andrew

thenewgalaxy 09 September 2013 08:47 PM

It's the same on my Golf and was similar on the 911.

I think thirsty cars have a warning light that comes on earlier.

My mate's BMW M6 that seems to average mid teens has a warning light that comes on the quarter!

Interior now sorted, the silver centre consol on both the saloon and my old hatch has to be one of the worst decisions Subaru made, I'm sure if I looked at it long enough it would scratch.

So decided to change the faux leather gaitors over for some real leather ones with red stitching to match the seats and thought I may as well sort the consol out at the same time (thanks to Rob for the paint recomendation).

So original
http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...psa5aec167.jpg

And new with matt black consol and lovely smelling and looking gaitors from Topgaitors, at a stupidly low price and with amazing customer service!

You cannot see the paint that well in the pics but its great and looks oe, hopefully it will hold up well too as it is acrylic!

Looks great, think i'll tackle mine next.

CTL 46 15 September 2013 11:51 AM

Well... picked up my STi yesterday... fabulous.
The dealer had her sitting in the centre of the showroom ... what an impact.
What a great feeling driving out.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Nice interior mods Abz.
