I was planning a DIY parallel fuel rail mod but like you I opted for proper rails, just waiting for my modded inlet to come back:norty:

Hi Lee
I have started to stick my car onto Lydden Hill if you ever fancy a trip to Kent. It is an interesting track and the only place where you can over take on bends and on both sides. So good prep for anyone that wants to get into racing. There are three sponsored imprezas in our pit area. A few pics here https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...k-classic.html |
Looks spot on now Steve just sent a wedge over to Alan today so should get it back soon I hope seems like ages but worth the wait I suppose , yeh mate up for that next year we'll get out together at some point I'm sure ... By the way it's looking spot on just the way I like em .. Think I may have to go with the wide arch you on spacers ??

No spacers on at the moment. To fill the aches properly it needs 10mm on. The general experience seems to be hubcentric 10mm seem to be Okish as far as the wheel bearings go. But 20mm often put too much strain on them. So I have personally steered clear of spacers,it is wide enough and I want to put most off the effort into suspension set up. To put as many of those horses down as quickly and as progressively as I can coming out of bends :thumb: |
What's she running now Steve ?? Was thinking about arches when I get the car back !
Mine will be mechanically sound with the new cosworth 2.1 tial 44mm wastegate brand new garret turbo , headers attack a track return to sump oil system just about everything, looking at mainly fibre glass wings doors bonnet , carbon door cards and wide arch kit over the winter all the cosmetic stuff then a full wrap might even stick a wand in it !!! |

Bit pissed mate - so excuse the grammar! Not sure what she is running, more interested in how it drives. On pump fuel we kind of guess just sub 500. suspension is my key focus now. On a oil heavy forged 2.5 builds that drink oil then sometimes a return to sump catch can makes sense. But on a properly built 2.1, 2.3 I would personally not return it to the sump, given the **** that collects in the can. If it turns out to an oil heavy track engine, which a few are, then yes return to sump. Just my thoughts mate :) |
Are you speaking about yours mate ?
