about PRODRIVE REAR DIFF GUARD's

Think it's all got a bit confused - Smatt was organising this GB for wheels, springs and mentioned pricing on Diff guard. The other GB was just for the Diff Guard and I pointed Nevetas at this one in case the joint buying power helped. Unfortunately Smatt has not posted since before the bank holiday so I think the wider GB has fallen thru? Jaycee was organising a Northern GB for just the wheels.

HTH - sorry but I started typing this about 3 hours ago and only just completed it !

jaycee 14 September 2004 12:45 PM

Trashman, you still interested in the wheels or did you sorted?

Jason

Keef69 14 September 2004 12:53 PM

Sorry to butt in, but I am looking for a set of original Subaru 5 spoke gold 16" wheels and wondered if any of you on this group buy, will be left with a set! bullkeith@aol.com if you want to sell your old ones.

Not sure yet - had a few unexpected bills and events  probably will go for them just not sure when. Going to get springs before anything else probably - did you ever get yours sorted? Remember you had some "issues"?

jaycee 14 September 2004 01:25 PM

The dealer thinks it'll be fine after fitting 18's  It had better be or it's going!!

jaycee 16 September 2004 05:37 PM

Only drove it 200 yards from the tyre fitters so don't know yet but I'll be able to tell you at about 7 o'clock when I get home. Unless I decide to go for a long drive!! :D :D

If you don't post by 10pm I'll know things are better :D

:D :D :D
That was money well spent!
The handling is spot on now, it still bangs over the bigger bumps but the ride is fine.
Even though the new tyres aren't scrubbed in yet I was getting round my favourite corners 15 mph quicker so it shows how good the Goodyears are over the factory fitted Bridgestones.
To top it all I sold my original wheels and tyres within 20 minutes of swapping them over. Result. :D :D

Don't delay, order them NOW!!

Where is the drool.gif smiley? :D :D Glad its improved - perhaps I should wait a while until I have the dosh to get springs and wheels together :(

jaycee 17 September 2004 10:40 AM

Let the credit card take the strain!!
How much are you paying for the springs?

You're an evil man :D.....not sure on pricing at the moment, rest of this GB fell a bit flat so I'm hounding my dealer at the mo. Sadly he is not interested in a GB but would do resonably good pricing on parts and very good on labour for me as an existing customer. Net effect if he does this across wheels, springs and PPP is very attractive and almost as good if not better than the pricing on this GB. Looking at around £400 fitted including full geometry setup which didn't seem bad to me.
