Details of the other work/mods will be announced asap. :thumb:

Some "phat" undercar neons, some blue LED washer jets and a subwoofer, obviously.

When can we see it at the croozes?

dynamix 09 February 2009 06:23 PM

right, back to some pics...

I decided that the old wheel just look like some chav in a saxo with a body kit on it so have borrowed some wheels from Paul @ Zen to try them on for size. These are wearing 888 rubber in the right size for me and were the right width and offset I believed.

Anyway, I took them down to ABW to test fit them on the car:

Spot on :D

and from above:

Again - perfect, the wheels will just tuck into the arches perfectly :thumb:

Side view to show what they look like:

Looks like these wheels will be staying - I love them :D

Bikebloke 09 February 2009 06:46 PM

Cant wait to see this when finished. The wheels look fantastic can you tell me the size's please? :thumb:

Pavlo 09 February 2009 06:48 PM

They are Hyper Zero-1 wheels, 18x9 ET30, available only in that bronze colour for now, and all fitments are 5x114.3 PCD so only fit 05-> STIs or on cars with a hub swap.

dynamix 09 February 2009 06:51 PM

They are very light too :thumb:

Neil.. 10 February 2009 09:35 AM

Looking god Dunc.:)

Which style of front wing are you going with?

dynamix 10 February 2009 10:16 AM

You mean front bumper?

It will essentially be a WRC front but with some modifications to enable greater cooling.

Underneath that will be a custom front splitter incorporating brake ducting that can be unbolted easily for day to day driving.

Neil.. 10 February 2009 10:50 AM

No I meant front wing.

The ones fitted above with the Hyper Zero wheels are different to the ones shown earlier...

dynamix 10 February 2009 11:12 AM

Oh lol. Those are Daren's wings as mine were being moulded - just bolted those on to check the wheel clearance.

dynamix 13 February 2009 06:17 PM

172sport 13 February 2009 06:54 PM

Must say I prefer it without the little arch trim bits.

Thumbs up tho. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I've loved the drive up there for the last two years - awesome scenery along the coast road :notworthy and the hospitality and curry in town was spot on :D

The track was pretty good too :p
