pmsl.

bring back the death penalty for diving in the area :lol1:

RA Dunk 27 August 2009 08:30 PM

Death penalty is a bit extreme but some form of mutilation would be a good start

Any player found guilty of diving and the team should loose the draw or game they are playing in, That would give players a bit of incenative not too to so..

Eduardo cheated and it took a bit of the gloss of a classy performance I admit it. I am sure he regrets it. Diving is not an offence that has resulted in 3 match bans in the past as far as I know. Whereas hitting someone in the face ( like Vidic did on the weekend) has resulted in many bans in the past. :nono:

Yeah i'm sure he regrets it too, just like ronaldo does and drogba and gerrard and lots of other players:Whatever_

Oh and it should be a 3 match ban because its blatant cheating that can get other players sent off. What Vidic did was unacceptable but it was nothing you must be able to see that, as for why he did it you'd have to ask him and Rodellega;)

Anyway Hull city had a great season up until Christmas, its after christmas when squad size and quality comes into play, then you'll see Your own players getting desperate and probably more discussions like this;)

See you in here on Sat at 5pm to get my nose rubbed in it by you and Dave:D

I wouldent read too much into a classy performance either,

goal 1 = deflection ............FLUKE
goal 2 = own goal .............luck
goal 3 = penalty .............cheat

None of your goals were scored through open play

:lol1:

Your point still stands for the first goals though :)

Diving will never stop until the 4th official is given something else to do apart from substitutions and holding the extra time board why FIFA/UEFA cannot (or is it will not) see this then it will always happen.

DaveBeck 27 August 2009 11:06 PM

tit lol

must write 100 lines saying

"Arsenal are class" :lol1: :thumb:

Of course but the knockers don't want to mention those :lol1: We completely out played Celtic over two legs and still the anti gooner brigade think it was all luck :cuckoo:

Fair play to RA Dunk he did acknowledge his mistake :)and yes for all the hoo haa about Eduardo, everybody does seem to have forgotten that Celtic were poor at home (ok our goals were lucky) but they were harassed/closed down quickly and ,imo, efficently.
At the Emirates they were more up for the game (they had to be) but lacked any real incisive play (although it was a great goal by Donatti)
The penalty incident didn't affect what Celtic had to achieve anyway they needed 3 goals at the start of the night and they still needed 3 when we got the penalty,THEY let themselves down but not playing harder.

Yes they aren't in the Champions League but they still get a chance to win the Europa League

Well Eduardo will be banned but i bet UEFA will NOT be consistant throughout this season.

I'm sure he will get a warm welcome when Croatia play England:lol1:

Bravo2zero_sps 28 August 2009 01:55 PM

Sky Sports | Football | News | Uefa charge for Eduardo

:lol1: read the comments. 'ark at all the Chelsea and Man Utd supporters saying how he should be banned and diving is a disgrace. Try looking at home first eh boys?

DaveBeck 28 August 2009 04:10 PM

This just proves how weak UEFA is.

How many games did Drogba get banned for, for his rant after appeal?

Surely the ref made a descion and it cant be questioned. if the ref didnt make a judgement then its opened to investigation but the ref has already been judge and executioner.

I think Wengers interview is spot on on SSN. if you watch the video interview.

Now every decision the ref makes can be changed.

Yes Eduardo went down BUT he was touched so prove that he didnt go down fully after that. You cant. If someone on here wants to prove it feel free and not by just using your "commentators eye" ;)

If i was Chelsea i'd be sueing UEFA for not looking at the video evidence for 3 penalty claims turned down that the ref saw.

And seriously i know im going to get the piss taken because thats what we do in here but surely steven Gerrard is now banned?
YouTube - Steven Gerrard, the hypocrite first search.

Its a disgrace, its a****ing disgrace ;)

STi wanna Subaru 28 August 2009 04:52 PM

:D

Hark at you boys...... He dived. We all know it but I agree to take this retrospective action could set a dangerous precedent. Do you want to stop diving? If the answer is yes then we should applaud UEFA ;)

Ok, its a fair call mate. Yes i want it stopped.

BUT to decide to do this now on a game that was over before it kicked off? to single out a player who has never done it before.

Will they continue to keep doing it to every game?every player?

If not we have been stitched and although you lot wont admit it ;) you know it aswell as you boys have/still have the worse divers in recent years in your squads(talking to the top 4 teams)

richie001 28 August 2009 05:27 PM

If this stops diving (and i include Didier Drogba and Joe Cole in this)then I'm all for it.

Maybe the fact the game was pretty much dead makes the dive worse...... I dunno.

As for will they continue it.... that's the big question.

If they're to clamp down on it then maybe they're starting with the smaller clubs and hoping the big teams take note :thumb:
