My Mrs nearly caught me watching Liverpool playing football earlier. Luckily I managed to get my c*ck out and turn on the porn in time to avoid any embarassment.

:D

Today's the day then?

I can see administration looming since a decision couldn't be reached yesterday

High Court rules against Hicks & Gillett

Fat Boy 13 October 2010 11:12 AM

"As the only man to get a result for Liverpool in recent history, Lord Grabiner will play up front alongside Torres this weekend", announces Woy...;)

NAF 13 October 2010 12:49 PM

Yay

Good news then :D

pauld37 13 October 2010 03:15 PM

Oh pooh :(

FlightMan 13 October 2010 09:01 PM

So that's allright then.

The owners of Liverpool Football Club today reported that a Texas State District Court has granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) enjoining the Board of Liverpool Football Club (LFC) from executing a sale of the Club to New England Sports Ventures (NESV). The court set a hearing date of October 25, 2010.

FlightMan 14 October 2010 09:49 AM

An appeal based in Texas. How low will these two crooks go? + £1 billion in damages.

Funkii Munkii 14 October 2010 10:34 AM

I can kind of see why they're doing this, the club is being sold for less than it's real value but because they owe just short of £300m to RBS, RBS can call in the marker and insist it is sold for what they're owed, a bit like a reposession.

No wonder John Henry flew is personally, he knows he's having it off with them, he has said this morning he is prepared to wait, well of course he is, if the price goes up by £100m do you reckon he'll be so keen to wait........ I wonder.

Very messy and very scarey stuff and United are just as susceptible :(

michaelro 14 October 2010 11:18 AM

Caught the news footage of those poor people getting rescued yesterday.
Great to see the smiles back on their grubby little faces and faint glimmers of hope in their otherwise impoverished and mundane lives.

I think Everton beat them on Sunday though :p

Kid walking down the street, and a car pulls up next to him and down goes the window.
"£20 and a bag of sweets if you get in the car", says the driver.
The kid ignores him
"OK, £30 and TWO bags of sweets".

At which the kid turns to the driver and says, "Look, dad, I already told you. I'm not watching Liverpool again this season!"

Aaron1978 14 October 2010 03:04 PM

Liverpool have been refused planning permission for a new stadium at Stanley Park. The Council have said it's ok to have a fair on at least once a year, but a circus every two weeks is taking the piss!!!

pauld37 14 October 2010 03:27 PM

:lol1:

Funkii Munkii 15 October 2010 10:08 AM

Panto season has come early this year.....

Another twist from Hicks and Gillette, what happens if Mill give RBS the loan money in full, the RBS will be happy and let this lot get on with it ?

pauld37 15 October 2010 10:31 AM

RBS are calling in loans on all small buisness' ;)

FlightMan 15 October 2010 02:39 PM

Bye bye Tom and George.

You're whole tenure at my club reminds me of these two.

Do you think John Henry will be any different.

He's buying a business to make money not because of his love of Liverpool, a la Hicks and Gillette, and that weird fooker that owns United. Expect ticket prices to double within 3 years, as they did at the Red Sox.

Personally I think he's a vulture and will probably sell this on at a massive profit within 3 years, as long as there is no debt attached.

hodgy0_2 15 October 2010 03:58 PM

Mr Justice Floyd issued an anti-suit injunction that rendered Hicks and Gillett's temporary restraining order, which they put in place to try and prevent a sale taking place, ineffective

it is like legal "Top Trumps"

Time will tell.

His actions at our partner franchise ( I'm getting with the times ) Red Sox are a good benchmark.

I see on the BBC sport pages Carragher has signed a new deal, hasn't anyone at Liverpool worked out he's sh1te, though I guess he fits in quite well

Just seen a cracking episode of Ready Steady Cook...

Roy Hodgson came on and made an absolute meal out of 11 blokes
