it was more than 5 hours too, used to take me 12 hours from manchester, 7 to dover, 2 on the ferry by the time your checked in, then the rest from calais.
|

Have I er missed the boat for room space? Suppose I could bring a tent :D , going to hold off and hope for a cheap deal on tunnel or ferry.
MRK what car have you bought Evo 8? |
Owbow,
mike's saff's gone... Matt :) |
Ed I am on the Tunnel.
Waiting for a couple of others though, so times may have to be *flexible* ;) |
Mike, nah, I ain't sharing so :p
Re the points plus tunnel thing, use it when you buy your fags at the Tunnel. If you get 2 full allowances that = a free ticket :D Not that I'd condone smoking ;) |
Hair won't be blue i'm afraid... working with joe public and it's not so good to have blue hair... not bringing mine as it cost so much last time... used as much fuel as a cossie on greys!!!
What's Mike got now then? that white EsCos he had last time? or something new AGAIN??? You guys sure know how to spend... :D o. |
Owain, if it makes you happy, I'm still in the slow black Skoda :D
Mike still has the white escos with the best brakes I have ever had the pleasure to us. IIRC, 385mm disks with 6 pot water cooled APs at the front and 350mm rears with 4 pot titanium pistoned APs. I love that car! :D Amazed that Mike let me drive it for a lap, less amazed that he wouldn't swap it for my Skoda :D |
so mike's giving out laps in his cos...? ;)
|
Amazed that Mike let me drive it for a lap Matt :) [Edited by mutant_matt - 7/28/2003 10:11:43 AM] |

Anyone see the news last night? The industry regulators for cross channel travel are looking into price "abnormalities" on non day trip crossings...
..I'm gonna hold out and wait for the return rices to drop to 25 quid ;) :D |
Cya there at Easter then :p ;)
|
...2007 ;):p:D
|
Anyone doing trax as well? Really want to do silverstone but worried its so close to this trip. Like 4 days
|
Trax is naff as a track driving event, dont risk the ring trip over a 15 minute potter round silverstone.

DocJock/MikeR,
You both have mail. Looks like I might not be able to make it. :( Having said that, I could get a cheeky lap in at the end of August during a flying visit! :D Matt |
shame matt.
|
John,
All is not lost. ;) Because we might not be able to make it, I let DJ know, and our room will be allocated to someone else. If we can make it last minute, we'll book somewhere else and see you there. All the old crowd are going to be there so it would be a shame to miss it. :D Matt |
Matt chapper NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :( boo hoo
|

|
Sort it out Matt you tart!
|
Good riddens your not coming you knobber!!! :p ;)
Won't be the same without the Oz Man there, oh well looks like some of us will be hitting the Dam again :D |

Did someone say amsterdam?? :D
|
Yep me and a couple of mates will be hitting the Dam on the way back as we did on the last trip!!!! :D
I think 2 nights at the Ring and 1 night in the Dam as its only a couple of hours to get there. |
I will speak to some friends who run a computer game company there (used to sponsor the orange F1 team) see if they can put some of us up...
