For techy questions, go into the techy forum, you will get answers in there rather than just opinions. :) You must have thought it worthwhile for you to buy it.

B.I.G SCOOB 05 November 2005 11:59 AM

thanks cookstar but ive tried to get opinions in the technical forums and no joy!thanks for the advice.

B.I.G SCOOB 05 November 2005 12:01 PM

oh and i do think its worthwhile but some local garages have been putting some doubts in my head, saying its not worth doing and that ive waisted my money!so just thought i might get some opinions from people who actually own the cars.

cookstar 05 November 2005 12:04 PM

These garages you talk of, do they specialise in Subarus? or are they just normal two man bands?

When i had my wrx de-cated it made a well worthwhile improvement, not just in power but driveability. Well worth it in my opinion.

HTH

>'big cum together'

Bloody hell what a nasty image. A group of grown men 'whacking off' over a car, it was a biscuit in my day.

B.I.G SCOOB 08 November 2005 08:54 AM

lol,so its not me being paranoid then?

cookstar 08 November 2005 09:37 AM

Nope i was in business with somone a few years ago, i didnt stand up to him leading to business failure. i wish so many times i had done.

So yeah, a light jab on the chin should sort this. :)

Mutts Nutts 08 November 2005 11:08 AM

I've been in this situation/ scenario so many times, and I've learnt now not to mix business and friends/family

It all sounds a great idea at first, but for one reason or another it can turn sour and then you end up falling out over it. And because your friends/ family it gets very tricky of how to resolve things.

Mutts Nutts 08 November 2005 11:11 AM

I know this really doesnt give you any advice on what to do, and I'm not probably a great person to dish out advice because all my scenarious ended bitterly or in ended friendships. I Just remember never to put myself in that position, where there is a conflict of interest.

B.I.G SCOOB 08 November 2005 04:58 PM

cheerz for the words of wisdom,it has helped, the light jab is looking to be the better idea, but i will try and resolve the dispute peacefully!lol,i have finally fitted my de-cat,its been a pain for one thing and another, but i seem to have it sorted now,it sounds superb!lovin it!how are your cars, ready to do another track day yet?
