Hi,
we are pleased with the turbo, didn't make the 360 /370 mark but as I stated its on a P1 running on "V" power that has never made good numbers :wonder:

Maybe time to try a 10% meth mix :thumb:

We have the turbo's in stock at £799.00 + vat, direct fit, bolt on unit :D

cheers

for comparison, also with alot more supporting mods

do you think there would be much of a gain by switching from my 34 to one of the new ones?

dynamix 16 December 2009 01:10 PM

from the graphs it looks like you would lose a bit tidgy. Obviously you wont know without trying though ...

Tidgy 16 December 2009 01:15 PM

Im not sure dude, im running front mount compared to top mount, induction kit and autronics.

so not sure if there'd be an improvement over it or not

wrx9181 16 December 2009 03:11 PM

Thought it was good for a p1 to be honest ? was i wrong ? 330 on a classics a bloody fast rd car in it?

Hi,
I think Tidgy would gain as P1's with VF 34's seldom produce more than 310 maybe 320 on a good one, and as stated before this car is not the best of test mules, only mods are air filter and a mongoose de-cat system, mapped by the master :notworthy.

As you state best way is to back to back it, I am up for it :thumb:

No charge Tidge, bring your car, we will power run it as is, fit the turbo, power run, map tweak and see what we get :D

As I have allways stated we only sell tested products that work, the more we can prove them the better.

Cheers
Kev

problem is they have several cars that ae quicker than mine parked up there, darn those pesky kids,,, lol

harvey 17 December 2009 03:11 PM

Tidgy : You are producing existing power/torque at low boost so that is quite Imprezive.
I guess you have a bit in hand or a safety factor built in.
Grab Kev's hand off on an offer like that.
Kev : Nice to see someone testing the products they sell, developing them and prepared to put their trust in them in advance of testing and demonstrate what they can do publicly.
Big up for Kev.....................
and don't forget that I am game for testing the new billet providing I have a suitable test mule available when the new turbo becomes available.

The Gaffer 17 December 2009 05:03 PM

Hi, Harvey,

my car has been a test mule for over 5 years, testing turbo's, headers, up pipes, intake pipes etc. etc. we also test products on all our track cars, if they work on track then they will certainly work on fast road cars :thumb:

As soon as the next batch of billet turbo's appear I will give you a shout, delivery promised before xmas :D

Thanks for your kind words
cheers
Kev

Mad Hammer 17 December 2009 05:49 PM

Got to agree with Harvey, how many people would put a graph up of a test result knowing the base car probably won't make the power ! Not may that's for sure. Tidgy get your self booked in mate, a back to back compared to your 34 would be interesting.

Keep up the good work guys

Clive

Hi,
the SC42 has a slight gain in spool over the SC46, ideal for non avics 2.0ltrr cars running 400 BHP :thumb:
in stock
cheers

hmmm if there is only a small gain in spool and your new SC 46 XTR billet turbos perform as there bigger brothers - faster spool more power

That could be the "best" 2.0 turbo around

Any news on when that will be tested ?

Hi,
we are confident it will be the best around :thumb:

Due to xmas shuttdown then the weather our delivery has been held back, we should recieve the next batch late next week (15th Jan), in this batch is a GT 35/82 Billet with a .82 housing and the SC 46 billet, as soon as they arrive we will fit, test and report :D

Cheers
Kev

Extremely Interested in the billet 35R Kev.

Will go very nicely on my Cosworth internalled, Strengthened 2.5L with AVCS heads and Cosworth S2 cams. Oh the turbo will be front mounted too:D

Hi,
our standard SC46 makes over 400bhp on a 2.0 ltr sti, needs a few supporting mods but makes the numbers, spool is still good too, I road tested one for a week, stunning !! :thumb:
Based on what the standard SC46 can do lets hope the billet version lives up to expectations :D

DD, we will have our hands on the GT35R XT billet late next week (15th), once tested, assuming it does the job, we will be offering them for sale :luxhello:

Thanks again for your interest,
cheers
Kev

Kev 1st dibs on a 35r billet (if it makes the numbers),can you remember if the gt35 on mine has the .63 or the .82 ?

wrxbart 09 January 2010 03:46 PM

got a gt35 now with .63 housing was gonna fit a .82 housing to it,but seeing this might change my mind now. px a 800mile gt35 lol

Shaun 09 January 2010 05:42 PM

Kev,
I am led to believe that billet wheels from the US are actually bigger and have a different blade configuration.... is this true? I understand you can't get more BHP by simply using the same size wheel but in billet, unless you run more boost, which the billet one would allow.

wrxbart 09 January 2010 06:10 PM

hmmmm
