intercooler spray as standard is interesting to know
my side skirts on my WRX are blue like the rest off the car avcs being variable cam timing? "engine in sti is far stronger" what sort off bhp can they both take in standard form? why is it stronger? suposidly the bottom (or should i say center since its a H4 lol) is the same? yup avcs is that. yes the engine is built from better components and will take 450 bhp in standard form where as the wrx is about 350 tops. |

Because you would cherry pick the parts you placed most value on and then get to a point where you would swear blind it's as good. Quite simply it wont be. :) The parts difference is vast, economically it would be pointless :)
please enlighten me to this vast parts difference? forget the economy why cant it be done |

5 speed wrx gearbox is very weak and the six speed can take big power, the swap costs 2k, one very good reason:thumb:

i think its the seats. i really hate thouse sti seats lol |
im confused mate, what exactly do you want to know, as im offering genuine advice.
what do you want from your car?? if you want big power a wrx is an expensive route to take. if you want a mild mannered reasonably quick road car the wrx is fine. |

Back in 2005 I spent £12k on modifying my 6 month old WRX, and you know what when I think back, what a tw@t I was!!
Is my old WRX with £12k spent on it any better then the STi im driving now, the answer would be No, as most the parts come from a STi in the first place and cost a bloody fortune in doing it!!! And im speaking from experience, dont go down that route, you can sit there and say money is not a issue, but if money was not a issue, you would be driving a better car then a Subaru!! My old 04 WRX! http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y16...boy1/sale2.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y16...boy1/side2.jpg Note the STi stickers on my WRX!!! |

Think what you could get with that £12k now, apart from the 6spd box I doubt any of it would be from an STI.
spending 12k on a wrx now would get you a long way! |

Maybe it's all the wrx owners that have a a big thumb print on ya heads and you need to ask the gf/partner/wife if you can spend a little money on the car only to be told NO ;-) get some balls and go buy a sti and put up with the crap from the misses , it will only last a day or two then pass your bike test buy a bike and get on a lads holiday on them the sh!t from the gf/partner/wife will only last a week or two ;-) stu I bought a wr1. The rings next, I promise. :D I reckon it's all just down to what suits the individual and their needs. |
