This is true.

Nick knows Jimmy from their trucking days and xmas is not a good time for Jimmy .

1 thing this has highlighted is that there are some very insensitive people on here.

It just goes to show, you never really know someone until they open up or you meet them in person.

8 out of 10 people on here treat Jimmy like the village idiot but only 2 or 3 of us actually know him personally and the full facts. All I can say is, he lives from day to day at the moment, fly's by the seat of his pants if you will. Up one minute, down the next, buys a car and loves it, sees something else and sells it.

I honestly thought that the type r was going to be "the one", the car he'd keep and gain respect from people on here but sadly its not worked out that way.

If he leaves SN on monday i'll eat my own head, its not going to happen.

nizmo80 07 January 2012 10:21 PM

I see it, did Jimmy's wife pass away?

:lol1::lol1::lol1:
please explain sti9 type r how you thought this was his wife leaving him!!!!!

Maybe you should go back and edit some of your posts then, rather than looking like an insensitive d1ck to everyone.

Then close the door on YOUR way out.

Some people really do show their true nature, through their posts. Then, its not because of guilt that they try and cover up or make excuses, its because their pride has been dented.

The only good thing that comes out of such posts, is that these evil peoples characters are plainly exposed in front of our very eyes.

nizmo80 07 January 2012 10:37 PM

couldent agree more with ya mate.

i think most people are just fed up of the long winded jimmy threds that would be more suited to twiter, now that its all come out his wife has died you can see why he`s always posting sorry about the comments but i think you would be better of on twiter

L&G.scooby 07 January 2012 10:46 PM

Really sorry about your wife jimmy. I lost a close friend and dealt with that my way, as you are you way. I wish you all the best.

tubbytommy 07 January 2012 10:50 PM

jimmys tragic news is new to me and i would imagine 99.9% of scoobynet too

fair play to hamster for helping him out, but his erratic posts and odd threads i.e im leaving and pages later he is still here are not helping his cause.

i admit when he first appeared i thought he was an idiot and then he bought a type r and started posting proper posts about fixing it up and modding it. i though he has turned over a new leaf and changed.

but how can he expect to be taken seriously when he reverts back to abuse after a few posts.

last week for instance he had his car booked into a bodyshop etc and was discussing the work being done, i though fair play he is doing it all properly so offered advice about rear arch rot i had experienced in my old classic.

then 2 days later he swapped for a bugeye and sold that straight away.

people will just think what is the point offering advice as he is not serious anyway.

this is not a dig at jimmy just an opinion.

maybe if he was honest from the start he would have faired better.

i truly hope i am never in that situation.

what i am saying is i didnt know jimmy was in that situation and neither did 99.9% of other scoobynetters so just thought he was an idiot.

so without this knowledge you can understand peoples attitude towards him considering his erratic and frankly riduculous posts.

but with the knowldege of his situation people would be more forgiving.

as said before enjoy your new car jimmy and hopefully you will find something good to take your mind off your loss.:thumb:

albob 07 January 2012 11:30 PM

forgive me if I am wrong in this -- but where in this thread has Jimmy said his wife has died?? (on truckers forum he says " I lost the Mrs a few weeks ago" - death is assumed)

Hot Chocolate is on bbc2 at the mo' :)

nizmo80 07 January 2012 11:32 PM

I think nick172sport confirmed it mate.
I think they are friends from when they used to drive trucks together.

Have to agree.

I realised he was a bit messed up but (hence my depression comment) but I'd read his wife had left him and his daughter lived with her so assumed it was the whole nightmare of not seeing your kid etc. I read it on a thread in tech a while back and just googled it to make sure I wasn't imagining it.

Some people's comments are out of order but the way Jimmy has done things it's almost unavoidable, it's not like he said his wife died and everyone started ripping him.

I actually think it's unfare for people to have a go at the guys that have made comments about Jimmy, they didn't know of his situation (whatever it might be) so their comments were not about his personal life.
