Sure have. Some bitch pulled out in front of me earlier in the year with no stopping distance to spare. Got her broadside and punted her across the road. Was drivin a 180+bhp cav GSI at the time, wrote my car off. I called the law cos i thought it best to since the road was pretty much blocked. Four cop cars turned up, flashin their blues n sirens goin.

They all had a look and were saying that there was nowt I could do to avoid it, then one asked to take some details and informed me that it was now standard procedure to breathalise the involved drivers. :eek2: F#ckin bricking it I was. 1030am on a sunday morning, one or ten the night before. Passed with flying colours. Thank F**K.

Don't tend to drink that much thru the week, just have 3-4 indoors at night, drive for a living so I've got to be careful. :Suspiciou

Michael.

City Link's my illustrious employer! I know a couple of the drivers at TNT.

Here's a pic of my daily driver:

Isn't it a beauty. Or complete pile of crap!

SUBTYPER 12 August 2005 03:10 PM

Hi Mickey least you aint to the usual thumpered front and rear where fork lifts bounce off LOL. My daily driver was a 7.5 ton DAf fairly new

mickywrx 12 August 2005 06:22 PM

It's not in too bad nick. 52 Plate 75000+ miles (just), few bumps and scrapes, but nowt major. Loads of fun in the snow altho it can get a bit scary. 0-60 when it feels like it and top speed of, wait for it ................................84mph!!!!! TDi Power. ;)

a youngish bloke in one of them vans (i think? was defo yellow and green) ran a red light outside asda , just missed a old lady crossing the road and i nearly ended up pulling out infront of him/smashing my car into a million bits (i pulled out as the light was on red and i had expected him to stop, if not for the red light then defo for the poor old bird who had one foot on the road  ),this was a while back

then him and his mate thought it would be funny to stick there fingers up at me as they went past the junction i was about to pull out of

when i pulled out of the junction after them the bloke was hitting the brakes hard and stuff so i might crash into him ?
unless of course his brakes really were ****ed?

so i over took him and stopped the traffic
resulted in a good old fisticuffs match in the middle of the road

SUBTYPER 13 August 2005 12:34 AM

Well I see Sticky the usual UN Peacekeeping force for Road rage needed to be out again LOL. The real worrying thing is imagine how badly off he would of been if the poor old bird had getten her false choppers into him.

I used to cover the Haltwhistle and Haydon bridge run and can safely say I had all the wheels of a 310 Sprinter 3 foot off the ground on a few bumps back from Slaley Hall once. (Must add Empty Country lane and totally empty van)

Your Sprinter must be speed limited cause the TNT ones will happily go off the clock with the speedo The real scary thing is loaded or not.

Sticky did you get your Mini Moto and hows it going. Anyone seen the new issue of Max power and the quad bike with the Subaru impreza 300 bhp engine fitted.

StickyMicky 13 August 2005 09:29 AM

no i emailed the seller and got a reply back yesterday
he apoligised for the very slow delay and said they had problems with the "warehouse" he said it will be here by the end of next week and he is putting a £5 cheque in with the bike as a sweetner

i know what he has done, or at least i suspect what he has done
hes never sold the minimotos before, his previous ebay name was "bargin buys" or sumthing

i think he has waited until he has "sold" enough of them to cover the cost, and then "dropshipped" them to the uk customers, but he has not relised how long it takes for them to be sent to the uk.

well it sounds about right to me, tis just a guess tho, or maybe they got stuck at customs or sumthing?

still waiting for the FMIC from ebay as well
