Never need to use the bonnet support again:D

SUBTYPER 17 August 2005 07:11 PM

So Richie were they easy enough to fit and did you have to drill the body also. Have you taken the bonnet support away to save weight. LOL

richiewong 17 August 2005 07:17 PM

Piece of piss to fit, no drilling required.
Just some WD40 to loosen the original bolts, bit of thread lock to assemble the strut ends and a touch of grease on the joints.

Cutting down on the pies to save weight;)
But the new footie season is about to start so pie count may rise to an unhealthy level:D:D:D

How much you charge for a wash at your place micky? My cars fcuking filthy, needs a good clean, since the missus keeps missing bit's.

You offer TTS discount or maybe a birthday freeby since I'm 30 on monday. :norty:

P.S ****ty link mustn't have delivered your new mean machine, cos it would have been in bits when it arrived most likely. Had to deliver one a while back n it arrived at the branch fooked.

It's the gay 80's biker's club:D
For the life of me I remember watching that as a kid but can't remember anything about it. Too much Knightrider, A Team and TJ Hooker for me:D.

Any predictions for the first home game tomorrow then?
What ever the result Souness must go and soon:mad:

Whats the score with dealerships. Went to CD Brammall in Heaton this afternoon to get a price for a set of coil packs. Wouldn't give me a price cos my cars an import. To the best of my knowledge coil packs are dealer only parts, so how the fcuk are you meant to get dealer only parts if they won't sell them to you. I knew a dealer wouldn't service an import but not supplying parts is ridiculous.

Any ideas?

StickyMicky 22 August 2005 05:13 PM

i found that you need to park your car around the corner and walk in with a uk chassis number on a bit of paper

cd brammel will lick yo ass for sure
worked for me :)

been cleaning the "beast" and had a good look around to see if theres any other problems

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/10...08-05_1652.jpg

chain is off as theres no clutch fitted at the moment so the front sprocket/pinion is missing :p

mickywrx 22 August 2005 05:19 PM

Cheers for that. Anyone got a UK chassi number for an MY94 Turbo 2000 (hic- WRX) ;)

Any idea how much they're gonna set me back, cos this car is starting to owe me a lot of fcukin money now. Pretty sure I've got gearbox probs again. :nono:

oscarprezza 22 August 2005 05:48 PM

go to gilesgate subaru in hexham they will sort u out no bother ,the chap on the parts will just use the equivilant uk m.year for a turbo preza, as all the plug mounted coil packs r the same up until they changed for the inlet manifold mounted multi coil pack, i have the part number in the house some where, so will have a look , 60ish quid a go at the dealers, hope this helps

stockcar 22 August 2005 07:55 PM

mickey, we normally have in stock if your stuck.......................

just cos its a Subaru part doesn't mean it has to be bought from Subaru............LOL
