I've fitted my new bling stereo yesterday with Forester pocket.
Drilled a hole in the rear so the controller can go in the pocket right next to the ipod which is already in:cool:

Whilst I was fitting the sensors decided to stick in some Samco turbo hoses as well, most scarest bit was drilling the pod to fit the alarm LED and that bugger of plug to get the oil temp sensor in:mad::mad::mad:

Unfortunately with the set up I decided upon it mean't getting a new headunit so £410 later;) at least the Ipod is in now.

Scoobless today, getting serviced. Was going to get them to fit the gauges but did it myself and saved about £250 in labour charges:D

Got a Hyundai Getz courtesy car, its got 12 valves, yes 12 valves, plastic wheels and goes.............................................. .just:D
Better brakes then the scoob though:razz:

The Getz is mint, just don't go above 60:eek:
It has brand new car smell and only about 1200 miles on the clock:D

I read on here that some people have cleaned their MAF's (preMY99/00) cars with brake cleaner, also read that some folks have completely killed them doing this.

Its Russian roulette :cuckoo:

i had allready cleaned it with tar and glue remover when i first got it. so i did it again today

the intake jubblie clips were compleatly slack as well which *might* have caused the fault

reset the ecu and will have to give it a few days to see if i get another error code
