xtreme from scoobyclinic. Nowt else seems capable of dealing with an SC46 without going twin plate and adding a grand to the bill!

No personal experience yet as cars still going back together!

Sounds pretty unlikely regarding the bad batch/not V power, but then again, who knows.. Certainly doesn't hurt to try as suggested, or maybe by adding octane booster.

seen performing at the scoobyshootout 2 years on the trot. :D

Just checked with my tuner, and he said I'm running 18-20 degrees advance in that problem area.
That doesn't tell me anything, and of course it differs between cars, but just to give you an idea..

Hi,

5 speeders also in stock. :thumb:

To get the bigger driven plate 6 speed clutch and flywheel to fit a 5 speed box you have to "dremmel" out a fair bit of bell housing, works a treat, no spline hacking needed. :D

Hi,

kebab digested, not true actually it was a chicken in black bean sauce today,
here is Pats take on it.................;)

Timing looks about right, it could just be the mismatch of parts used or just one of those cars, to sort it you will have to port the exhaust housing, don't go mad just add a radius to the the waste-gate throat, not the button, take off any sharp edges with a dremmel, don't make it any bigger just smooth it out a bit.

Pat also says its far more likely on a 2.5 than it is on a 2.0 ltr engine, which is true now I think about it as we have had to port at least 50% of the 2.5 standard turbo charger cars when we have them in for mapping. :(

It does sometimes happen that a certain set of mods don't work together and cause issues like yours, still worth a try with some E 85 and a map tweak though. ;)

cheers
Kev

Hi Mick,

where did the flywheel bit come from, :wonder:

Wishful thinking me thinks, flywheels are in stock, £295.00 gets you a Chrome moly 6.3 kg Billet one. :D

We also do a 5 speed kit that comes with a Chrome Moly billet flywheel, a 240 mm organic disc and an uprated cover with 1350kg clamping at £639.95. :thumb:

All prices + vat.

cheers
Lev

Hi,

they don't rattle at all and drive as normal, flywheel is not compulsary, you only need one if your original is worn or you wish to add a lightweight one whilst the box is out. :)

cheers
Kev
