SUBTYPER 01 December 2005 09:54 PM

Well I thought I would return from a long silence thinking and let you all know I am now a proud father of a baby boy weighing 8lb 10 oz. Liz said she didnt fancy me naming the boy Dave Richards Clayton or Colin Mcrae Clayton so we went for Robert Michael Clayton.

Well i think i will pop into the local Subaru Dealer and put the order down for a Subaru impreza WRX STI Type R MY2023 for his 18th Birthday. Anyone know what the odds would be that I might get discount or nought percent interest for 18 years LOL. Actually just thinking If I buy one now and get it in 2023 who reckons Subaru will honour the price.

John and Liz

CONGRATULATIONS

Robert Michael Clayton - Tyne Tees Scoobies youngest member

Best Wishes

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs SUBTYPER

Boolox thats the one i meant, got some 10 star cars on Underground.

Congrats on the birth of the nippa, fella, hope all the SWRT branded baby-gro's have been purchased.

StickyMicky 02 December 2005 07:00 PM

i think most wanted is a bit better, it seams more polished, but there is not that much diffrence tbh

30 min long police chase is a laugh when you watch ian from work spazz out and get busted after all his hard work

i feel sick :(
new boy squirted 3 squirts of seat cleaner in his gob after i did one for a laugh, so i then did 10 squirts to "beat him" (figured simply beating him by 1 was not going to be good enough)

to dam competitive, my mouth hurts now :freak3:

Think the little one will rebel and become a Mitsubishi Driver LOL That would ne worse than him saying he was gay LOL.

Richie she got a medal and I got the bruises. The Type R has a baby seat in the back and a car booster cushion in the front the kids are taking over.

Thanks everyone I might write to the creators of NFS and ask if they are gonna do a few car seats for the modified sections of the game.

StickyMicky 07 December 2005 07:01 PM

got in the car tonight and heard a "wierd noise" coming from the back end

it was the rear ariel trying to do sumthing, it has been about 5 days scince i had the radio on  i put the radio on to try and make it extend, it did not, but the noise stopped, fair play, put the head unit back onto cd and started the car up, no noise

came all the way home and parked up to hear the noise again, and i could not get it to stop  had a mess about with the ariel and it was red hot to the touch
no tools here at all except a sharp knife  so i just chopped the wires to the unit

unit is not wet or anthing, can understand whats up with it, does not get much use TBH, i bet a replacement is "scarey price" as well, good jb i heard it and investigated, wouldnt like to have had that thing heating up overnight

Afternoon, and isn't it a nice.

Quick question, I've ordered so Sti rear lights for my car, and want to know what sealant to use so the dont fill up with water like my lexus ones. Don't really go for the gold fish bowl look. So any ideas?

PhilA 08 December 2005 06:29 PM

"Silicon Sealant" from any diy store. £7/£8 for a tube, which will be enough to do loads of lights. Put plenty on.

Garth WRX 08 December 2005 07:08 PM

Hi guys. I've just bought a lowered 52 plate WRX with 18" Speedline Turini's and need to speed it up a little!
Just sold my Yellow 03 S3  due to house purchase (it's now sitting on the forecourt of Newcastle Audi) which had a nice AMD remap. Now I find the WRX slow in comparison... so where's a decent place to get the WRX remapped in or near Newcastle?
Cheers.

Ninnybobs 10 December 2005 10:45 PM

Welcome Garth,

Don't worry, it's not n ormally as quiet as this on hear.

If you are looking for a Tek3 remap, it would be worth your while 'looking up' Andy Forrest. He is based in Edinburgh, but most of the TTS lads have used him.

Martin

gussy 11 December 2005 10:00 PM

Yes it has Martin torque is defenitly up,the problem with the old map was due to me changing back to ported headers from megans boost was coming in to quick and catching the wastegate out....long story....at mid revs the ecu was going into brain fade sorted now tho

martyrobertsdj 12 December 2005 01:22 PM

Hello from Benalmadena!!!

Just got back from Brazil and for tax purposes (I don´t want to pay any) I have to stay out of the UK until 23rd of December.

Therefore, I am here in Spain, lapping up the nice weather and thinking of you lot in the cold.

I´ll be sorting out that new clutch and lightened flywheel when I get home, so I can finally put my foot down without increasing revs without increasing speed!!! It´s only been slipping for about 4 months!!

See yaz in January. I´ll be at the first meet of 2006.

Ninnybobs 12 December 2005 04:08 PM

Marty,

It's a hard life !!!!!!!!!!

Not sure that 'non taxpayers' are allowed at TTS meets ;)

You will need your 'woolies' when you come home
