jabbroni,
i went..... i was impressed and then I had to drive 100 miles more than I needed to because the A66 was blocked by snow. martin |
Micky posted help posted, but its probabaly a lot easier to put in the senders into the oil filter adaptor. No need to remove the alternator and intercooler.
Martin, my suggestion spare wheels and M+S tyres:D Got my gold winter ones on now and think PSLewis is right, they look right gay:lol1: Screw it at least I can get out and about. |

Richie,
It wasn't the snow that stopped me........ I was up for it It was the copper in his T5 that didn't fancy the journey over Stainmore ;) Martin |
Morning all. It's a bit white out.
|
It's white in the Boro as well.................or is that the Smog
Martin |
martin, tell us a bit more about this car you went to see???
|
Agree with Jonny
what did you get see and drive?
|
Jonny,
It was an MY06 Spec C......... with all the 'bells and whistles'. ;) Ian Litchfield took us out in his MY06 Spec C for a blast. Not the fastest car I have been in, but the handling was 'to die for'. Fully kited with AST coilovers and whiteline handling pack. Superb handling in extreme conditions. Not sure about the six speed box though. A bit to frantic through the gears for my liking. Will tell more later Martin |
Jab,
See above................. well worth the journey. Ian's car was fitted with Tarox 12 pot brakes............ thats two more than mine :( Martin |
With all the bells and whistles Martin, sounds more like a Morris Dancer.
|
Gus,
I might have to take Morris Dancing up as a sideline if I want a Spec C ;) Martin |
Right ho Martin, mind you some how I cant see you dressed up as a morris dancer but dont mention it to Lord Harding I could just see him turning up at the Dun cow with a couple of sticks and a floppy hat.
|
so thats who asked the morris dancers to come to the TTS BBQ 2 years ago :D
|
slid down a slip road yesterday night at about 4mph on black ice/snow/crap
came down sideways most of the time, had the handbrake and everything on to stry and stop it, fecken cars at the bottom of the hill waiting to get on the roundabout took FAR TO LONG to pull away. got it stopped near the bottom, took a few secs to compose myself and then checked the mirrors to see somebody else doing the same and got out there sharpish  |
Had a similar incident with the wife's Leggy and my garage door :)
Off to play in the snow in the works carpark again. Martin |
well good washing day for me and micky, he set fire to a customers bumper, and i put my car into the entrance sign. mine won't cost me nothing no dammage, poor micky, i feel for you.
