Hi mate,
I've been thinking about a PPP upgrade on my 2000 Turbo. What else would I need other than the ECU? any ideas?

Apparently, the PPP upgrade consists of:
Silicone Intercooler Hose
Mild Steel Resonated Centre Section (No Cat)
Prodrive Stainless Steel Backbox with round tailpipe
uprated ECU.

Right, I've got a trust exhaust system with the cat removed so I am almost there already?
Can you just plug the ECU in or does it need to be mapped or anything like that.

yep should be fine, im currently running it with a full decat, magnex twin dump downpipe, magnex resonated decat centre, and Scorpion Backbox (Scorpion made the backboxes for Prodrive IIRC)
and yes the ECU plugs straight in, doesnt need anything doing other than that

Yep thats true due to the increase in boost, I have one on mine, but they arent expensive, and worth doing anyway even if you dont have the ECU

To help answer some of the questions -
Samco do a silicone intercooler pipe set that will do the job or get a sti V5 or 6 intercooler pipe from a scrappies.
The projected figures are approx 245 bhp & 245lb/ft torque. It makes quite a difference especially to the later model with 802 ecu.
Mine was rolling roaded at powerstation and the above figures were achieved, it has since had a downpipe fitted and there is good difference again.
Mine has run now for over 30k miles with this ECU and no probs. Also no probs at dealer re warranty claims etc.
