Post MD304 P18 Turbo, REAR Tarox brake pads and blue side light bulbs!

MD304 Hybrid Turbo
as supplied to previous owner from Lateral Performance.

For sale with two options:

  • MD304 Turbo with a full service, clean and rebalance @ at Turbo Dynamics;
£750 delivered next day*.
(*Should be a turnaround of a week for TD to do it's thing)

OR

  • MD304 Turbo with a TD Rebalance only;
£600 delivered next day*.
(*Should be a turnaround of a week for TD to do it's thing)

Cost over £1400 new.

No play in core, all vanes 100%! I did just under 14000 miles with it.
btw- No pipework supplied

Pics:

It's good for 350bhp/320+ lb ft on a UK spec car with supporting mods as seen on P20Spd's 2L wagon.

The turbo has done sterling service on my own car, and has proven it's ability of a number of high profile 22b.SN cars using the same turbo type (P20spd, Slooby/TimW specifically).

The turbo is now using an 18G exhaust housing.
(larger than 16G you find on OE turbos, smaller and less lag than 20G you find on BIG turbos )

Originally when I bought this, it had a P20 housing, which sadly acquired a small crack on the wastegate penny recently.
This meant the P20 housing had to be swapped back to the original spec P18 now that is done it's fighting fit and ready to play
No core damage or play either!! (which is nice )
I just want to be clear about the above as no doubt people will have read about my car on here/22b and I want to disclose everything so you know the turbo is spot on

On a 2L this should give you 1 bar of boost by around 2.7k rpm and 1.25 from around 3/3.1k rpm, the delivery is much snappier on the road that you might think.

This would be a rabid beast on a 2.5 if you are more interested in a very low, and useable boost threshold than outright numbers at the top end!
You wouldnt need much boost at all with this on a 2.5 to make it FLY

With regards to the turbo in comparison to a FE TD05, the general opinion is that the TD05 is good for a little bit more than this turbo. ie over 400.

Was certainly very lively on my UK car and helped me to run a 12.7 ish 1/4mile @ ScoobyShootout last year! (IIRC- 11th place overall!)

Top for an excellent turbo. With sensible mods this is what it can do on a UK Turbo

Bargain for a good turbo.
