Default complete monster engine - good for 600+ bhp

I have had an engine built up with no expense spared in any area.

It has been run in the high 500s consistently with similar torque.

It was professionally built by dtw engines and bench dynoed.

I am now selling up my project but the engine was running strong and without any bad mechanical noises when removed from the car.

It is on a par if not serioulsy above any stage 6/8/10 you might see advertised by rger clark or quirt crawford or axis etc.

It is an ej22T engine resleeved with a stroked crank (1500 alone) to give a strong 2.5

the spec is monstrous, but in parts and labour alone thiis engine stands me in at over 11k.

It has covered approximately 2000 miles since coming off the dyno.

Please note this is not an ej257 with rods and pistons.

this has diesel top hat liners and no gudgeon pin access holes.

it is s true closed deck engine.

the crank is forged billet with twin drillings per big end

the rods are par

the pistons JE customs with teflon coated skirts

12 14mm head studs

triple layer steel gaskets, and then we have the heads

these are gas flowed with billet valves throughout, double sprung with custom retainers and top hats. the head work alone was over 2000. The heads will allow the engine to rev to 9k if you have the *****.

then there are custom dh22 cams with kent vernier pulleys

these are kept in check with a kevlar cam belt.

Included also in the sale is a roger clarke uprated oil pump.

I am selling the long engine described above for £6000

anyone contemplating building one of these themselves, please give me a call first.

I already amde that mistake, and I can't emphasize enough how much care has gone into choosing this long block set up.

Nothing important left unstrengthened!

not sure I need another scoob.

surely someone must be looking to build a monster right now?

this is easily a 10 second engine, and more than likely a sub 10 second engine with suitable turbo, and more importantly driver.

they are phase 1 but you can get adapters to run a phase 2 manifold if necessary.
