I have for sale a set of Tein springs that were fitted to my version 8 sti for a month before being removed for coilovers. The springs are in as new condition and still have the shocks attached, although the rears knock when warm (Bilstein RB320 rears)
They should fit on the hawkeye as the version 8 is the same chassis (rear lip on arches) but I will not be held responsible if the don't. The springs lowered the car quite a bit but I only changed them because the rears occasionally knocked and I intend to track my car.
They cost me £170 so im after £120, postage could be arranged but this may be expensive. Collection would be altrincham south manchester.

Lower than you would think, look at my thread in the gallery section and the pics that are poorer quality have the teins on. The other 2 are the coilovers. I can send you a before and after later when I finish work.

how much were they quoted to lower the car by when you bought them? any idea of the poundage?
I take it you are talking about the first two pictures in your gallery thread? it looks quite low!! maybe too low for me, but im working in altrincham at the moment!

Tein quote 15mm rear and 35mm front, heres the before and after pictures. Excuse the different size wheels but the profile of the 17's makes up for the difference in the 18's if you know what I mean??

I think £50 cheaper than brand new is a fair deal seeing as they are 1 month old in perfect condition...so £120 and you can keep the shocks for quick and easy fiting.

i will see if they are still here when i pick the car up, do you have a link to where you bought them from so i can find out the poundage of the spring and the spec? I would want to put my different shocks on anyway if you are saying that the rears knock!
thanks,
thanks,

Well you could find it useful to keep the front shocks as they are fine, spk to you soon. Good luck with your new purchase!
