Exclamation **FULLY FORGED 2ltr EJ2O**

Okay, the pull of an S2000 is just too great so I've decided to definitely break my Impreza (after much debate!)... So there will be alot of other parts up for sale very soon, but first off, must sell the engine.

PRICE: £1500 NO OFFERS

So here goes... Spec:
  • 2.0 Open Deck EJ20 with cleaned and reset WRX heads, measured for compression and appropriate head gasket to give 8.29:1 CR
  • Wiseco Plus 50 Forged Piston Set (92.5mm)
  • Manley Steel Rods
  • ACL Race Bearings
  • Standard Subaru Crank (NOT nitrided or cross drilled)
  • Uprated Oil Pump with Plunger Mod
  • New Modine
  • Ran on MOTUL Fully Synthetic
Originally built by Harvey Smith in December 2009 and since the build has done approx. 5000 miles which includes 1000 miles running in on a "running in map" which was then remapped again to suit the forged engine with the other modifications (mapping done by Bob Rawle).

The engine currently runs around 330-340bhp with supporting modifications... which is way short of what this engine is capable of taking (around 500bhp). The engine is still in the car at the minute and will remain there until the engine is sold, so any prospective buyers can hear/see it running and the car will continue to be used.

Service History:
  • June 2009 - FULL service at Subaru; including changing all belts, plugs and engine/gearbox & diff oils at cost of £700.00
  • October 2009 - Plug change; Standard Subaru plugs for NGK Plugs
  • March 2010 - Oil and filter change; semi synthetic to fully synthetic after first 1000 miles running in period
  • October 2010 - Oil and filter change; MOTUL fully synthetic to Millers CFS fully synthetic
* There is alot more service history that can be supplied with the engine if required, including the original Japanese Subaru service book.

Engine to be sold as a "long engine" and will include inlet manifold, coilpack, ancillaries etc.

If anymore info is required please dont hesitate to ask and any inspection is of course welcome.

Totally understandable... but to be honest it still none the less is a 500bhp+ engine and for the price i've got it at you could have the crank replaced for an uprated none Subaru (or newage nitrated one) and still have a bargain engine!

No idea to be honest mate, would be worth looking into as it can't be so much that it makes that and my engine not a viable buy (cost wise)
