Im just signing up to a few other forums now, its daft really. people will just start using other sites that dont charge a fortune, i LOVE scoobynet, i genuinely think its the best forum for subaru owners in the uk at the moment. NASIOC.com for the americans, scoobynet for here. anyone suggest any other good ones for the uk?
Ive paid for membership of this site for two years now and am very very sad to have to stop using it because one moderator thinks i can afford up to £175 a month just to advertise a few parts when i break the odd subaru in my barn.
Im not a subaru breaker, i am not a large wholesaler of parts, i am not a breakers yard. I am just one bloke who loves subarus and loves taking them to bits and playing with them and then offering my fellow subaru enthusiasts STi parts very cheaply when i have them. Breaking the odd STi has allowed me to steal all the parts i needed to keep mine on the road and uprate a few bits at the same time.
This really does take the ****. so come on people, where else can i go? what other forums are great? anywhere you see paul83b, thats me!
Cheers,
Paul.

yeah that sounds about right.i had a right feeking game trying to find his place as my sat nav battery had gone dead.ended up being an 8 hour trip for me,i even left him positive feedback before i fitted the engine to receive none back.i wouldnt mind i only wanted the bloody engine to get me back on the road as i had just spent the last 2 years being messed around by dodgy so called engine builders, then when i fitted that one he sold me and saw there was no il pressure and it was knocking, well that just really made my day.i told him about the engine and he said because he sold me it cheap then he couldnt offer a refund but would send me an oil pump to sort the low oil pressure.what a joker.

Gus: the only My03 Sti ive had was my blue blobeye with gold 18 inch prodrives SN53NLO that i owned for a year in 2007-2008 and sold with only 22k on the clock, sold it for £9500 and the guy that i sold it too still has it nearly 2 years later. gorgeous car with no problems at all. If it was a shed he wouldnt have kept it this long and i wouldnt have driven it for a year.
Big Arf, Im very impressed that youve got the time to dig out all my old posts, it was a trip down memory lane reading posts from nearly 2 years ago. 16 posts in 2 years advertising bits and the odd shell / car, i dont see that as too excessive to be honest when its my hobby and has been for nearly 3 years now.
And you got a whole low mileage V7 STi long engine with AVCS heads for £700 that honestly was not knocking when it was taken out of the car, i even had video of it running.
