i might be doing a full-time course for a year. and if theres lots of travelling i dont really want to be putting loads of miles on it. so thats why it may go.
Dont know about a replacement Tony. What do you reckon at about £10 grand? im tempted by RB5 but would need more cash in hand as theyre still fetching 12-13K arent they? do you rate them at all?
ideally RB5 plus 8k really.

Thanks mate. Guess there's no money on here
Why not give pistonheads a try, there are some right stuck up gits on there, they might make you feel more at home![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Taff (pennyless but would love a p1)

My plan was always 6k on top of my RB5 for a P1. Not really looking for a change at the mo. but if you did become interested I would certainly give it serious consideration. Totally unmolested 39k, FSSH. Good luck...

6k wouldnt be enough really Jamie.
Im the same as you really, id want something low mileage and unmodified. they're good enough out of the factory for me.
i noticed an RB on the autotrader site with 22k miles, at around £13000. that would be ok.

Couldnt justify much more, even for a pristine car.
Current national search on Autotrader for under 60k miles, RB5s gives 9 cars between £12500 and £14750. 22k example you mention is No.100 I believe at £13995. Same search for P1s under 60k gives 39 (lots more available for some reason, 445 vs 1000 ltd perhaps?) cars between £16450 and £23000 with a 26k mile standard 2 owner car for £17795. Tileys of Bristol (franchised dealer) have an '01 P1 albeit with 43k for £18,995)
Trying to persuade myself, more than persuade you! Shouldnt have looked as can see me popping to Bristol over the weekend!
If you decide to keep hold of it and run a 2nd car, keep in touch as I'll probably still want one in 12 months time. Initial warranty on RB5 runs out in May so will be starting to get twitchy by then!
