Default UK Turbo 34K - now with pics & new price

Subaru Impreza 2.0 Turbo uk
First registered in December 1998
34k from new
Silver
4 previous keepers (although 2 were the same couple)
Service history from both Subaru and Wincanton Motor services
Tracker and cat 1 alarm
The car has been sensibly modified with:-

s/s exhaust (prodrive I believe)
K+N cone filter
Bailey dump valve
Samco boost hoses
Upgraded subaru front brakes
Eibach springs
Morrette headlamp conversion
Clear indicators
TSL STi 6 rear spoiler
18" Kahn RSR alloys with Toyo tyres that have only covered approx 1k
Cherished transfer plate that is valued at £500

I have the original headlights, mid level spoiler and a spare set of gold bk racing 17" wheels that can all go with the car.

This car has been cherished by all its keepers and is in excellent condition both inside and out. It looks, goes and sounds superb.
This is a very reluctant sale but the car is just not getting used as much as I would like (due to three kids and the purchase of a zafira!)
I have plenty of photos of the car that I can e-mail to you but being a novice to this I am clueless of how to put them on this post. If anyone could put them up I would be very grateful.

I looked at many tatty scoobys before buying this and travelled many miles to find it. The car really is excellent in every way and as such I am looking for £11295ovno.

I may be interested in a poss part ex for a much cheaper RS model

I will now consider selling the car with 17" (gold) bk racing wheels, OE headlights and Mid-level spoiler for £9995

If I were you I would strip the non-standard items off the car and sell them separately.
Incidentally have you checked out http://www.parkers.co.uk/pricing/used_car to get a rough idea of what you car is worth? you may find it very disturbing!
Good luck

Thanks for that Danny B. I would rather not mess about splitting all the bits up to sell seperately so will try to sell as a whole. I'm not desperate to sell so will keep it all together for now. When I was looking to buy the car I looked at a lot of more expensive ones that were nowhere near the condition of this. With the condition and mileage being as it is together with all the extras I think it is probably a fair price for anybody serious about buying and wanting a good one. Cheers O'

This sounds like its a face lift MY99 so I would put up a new thread with that in the title, as people may assume its a phase 1 MY98.

You can pick up an X plate or even an early bug eye for that price though. As Danny says, you could maybe get 10k at a real push and make a grand or so from the bits. Not what you want to hear but thats the way it is!

The car is a 98 model as it has the older style front bumper. If you could put a picture or two up for me I think it may help but I haven't a clue how to do it. I have been looking at autotrader and judging by car prices on there it is not a bad price. Like I say I'm not in a hurry to sell so hopefully someone who wants one with my bits already on it may bite eventually. The car is immaculate and the bits are a bonus to someone who wants them. The wheels etc are brand new and cost me £1200 at xmas as are morrettes and spoiler. I realise that you don't get all the money back when you sell but the modifications have cost me a lot more than I am asking on top of the standard car. I am also including the standard bits with the car when sold.
Please can somebody put the pictures up for me, please please!
Cheers O'

Just a tip, BTTTing more than once a day is a bit pointless in this forum now, as your post wont drop off the page for ages

Thumbs up

Looks a nice tidy car , but I think you will struggle to find a buyer at that price . Good luck with the sale though

Having taken advice I will consider splitting the 18"s, morrettes and high level spoiler.
I will sell the car with 17" bk racing wheels (gold) and OE headlights and mid-level spoiler for £9995
Cheers

Could you send us some pics of the car as it stands now.
Pics of the wheels you would put on and also service history and any other details you have about the car.
Also where you are eg North, South etc.

I'm after a uk turbo about 97/98. Seen a few but too far away but they were priced between £7k and £8k. Some had nice mods too.

You've got to remember by spending thousands on a car doesn't mean you increase the value by thousands.

Saying that it's a lovely motor and your cars worth what someone will pay and if thats £11k then big up to you.

I sometimes come on here and think that people shouldn't be commenting on others pricing of their cars. You have to wonder how much us "enthusiasts" are actually to blame for the depreciation of these cars. I mean no offence to anyone but some thoughts are best kept that way.

Good look with the sale and a free BTTT.

I have decided to sell a couple of the mods seperately before the car goes in the Trader.
The 18" Kahns - £800ono and
the TSL STi6 spoiler - £250ono
both items as seen in the pics.

The car will therfore be sold with 17" bk racing wheels, OE mid level spoiler and OE headlights. - offers?

Cheers
