Honda CRX Mk2 1.6 16v (Non-VTEC) - For sale or Part exchange
1991 H-reg (later style front bumper, VTEC style sidelights and tail lights)
126k miles
Rio Red
Dubai import - same as UK spec (MPH speedo, with air conditioning)
Insurance group and cost is the same as UK CRX
Working air conditioning (recently re-gassed)
Full history from new, including invoices for tyres, oil, etc
Pipercross air induction kit
Rocker cover painted in wrinkle red finish
15" Civic VT wheels with nearly new Yokohama tyres
MOT until July 2005 (passed with flying colours, chassis rust free)
Tax due end of January 2005
Momo Champion steering wheel
VT leather front seats
Good points
No rust on the rear arches at all!
Wax sealed from new!
Huge folder of receipts, MOTs, etc (as well as the original owners manual and folder)
Full Scorpion exhaust (not fitted)
Original 14" wheels with lots of tread on tyres (flakey paint, but sold with car)
Original steering wheel and airbox included
Original front seats (worn, but useable)
1.5x small hoop spoiler (needs painting and not fitted)
Lower front strut brace (not fitted)
Working boot struts
Kenwood speakers in front doors
Pioneer speakers in the rear
Spare set of pedal rubbers
Spare rocker cover (if you want to paint a design on it)
Spare starter motor and alternator (from a Rover 216)
Rolling roaded at 130bhp (when other 16v cars were struggling with 120-125bhp)
CRX-UK car mats
CRX-UK sticker on rear!
Radiator, cambelt, brake pads, brake disks, bushes all recently replaced by previous owner.
Halfords Rio Red spray paint (new and unused)
Recent oil and plugs change, air inductor cleaned and new leads fitted
Bad points
Front passenger wing has a dent where the paint has cracked, but hardly noticeable.
Small rust bubbles appearing on the sunroof.
The valve clearences need doing as it's a little noisy on start up, but it disappears when warm.
Air conditioning a little noisy when engine is at idle (no noise in the rev range) but it blows very cold!
Standard stereo!!
Before you think the price is too high, look at all the extras with the car:
Exhaust system £150
Leather interior £150
Wheels with Yokos £200
Induction kit £50
Spoiler £75
Lower brace £25
Magnacor leads £60
Over £700 worth of bits that would sell easily on ebay, but I want to sell the car and the spares a 'job lot'.
The car is worth in the region of £1200, with only very minor work to make it mint!
My asking price for the car and the spares is: £1650
PM me if you are interested
(Only interested in an automatic Forester S-Turbo or manual Ford Focus as a part exchange, cash your way)
I don't want to sell it, but a baby on the way means we need a sensible family car!

You wouldnt consider splitting the wheels by any chance Mr Tang??
These are cracking wee cars and the non-VTEC cars are surprisingly quick.. as I found out to my cost on the 1/4 mile in my '99 Civic VTi......
Best of luck with the sale mate, good price, looks like a great example.
Cheers,
Grant

A couple of people have inquired about just the car and the leather interior.
I will return the car to standard, bar the seats for £1200.
It just makes the whole package look like a complete bargain for an additional £450.

I am not desperate to sell the car and if there are no buyers, I will carry on tinkering and sell it when the market is better (and ask more, as it gets better!)
That basically means, I will not except offers on my car! The prices I give are fair looking at the CRX market, you will be hard pushed to find a better one for the same money!
