Hi all,
Long time since I've been on here so I hope everything is ok. The time has come for me to sell my lovely Scoob. Girlfriend and I have been discussing a variety of issues (family related) and a new car is in the offing. She has agreed that I need not sacrifice speed and agility too much, she just wants a bit more luxury and, come to think of it, so do I! BMW 535i Sport or 540i Sport are the likely contenders! Please do not hate me. Anyway, here are the specs:
![](https://tinypic.com/1owxza)
September 1999 UK Turbo
Sonic Blue
Very Good condition
No Track days and well looked after
Always used Shell Optimax as petrol apart from the odd occasion when I had been forced to go to BP and use their good stuff and always warmed up properly and cooled down after use.
Subaru Service history - although 60,000 miles is coming up but cambelt done at 45k so does not need to be done.
Mileage is 59,500 - much of that is motorway miles (I have done less than 30,000 in the last 3 years as I generally take train to work)
Has been modified as follows (3 years ago):
Custom exhaust/BB by a company called Longlife (was done by last owner, specifically for the car) - makes a lovely deep sound and is very nice
Dawes Boost Controller
Uprated Pagid brakes and pads
Bump-Steer mod by Power Station Engineering
P1 (or similar) spoiler by TSL Motorsport
Front head lamp covers
Spotlight covers (sonic blue)
Quickshift
Kenwood 6 stack CD (has not been used very much at all whilst I've had it)
If anyone wants to confirm the above, please contact AndyC_772 who has seen and known the car since I have had it.
Currently in Auto Trader for £8,495 but I will come down for a Scoobynetter. In fact (as it is getting to the point where I would dearly love to sell it) I will offer it for £7,995 even though I have JUST PUT BRAND NEW TYRES (TOYO PROXES) on it and am willing to assist with the 60k service... (meet me half way).
THAT'S £7,995!!

I can email photos at any time.

I am planning on putting new Toyo Proxes on it before I sell it and may consider putting something towards the 60k service as well.

BTTT for what is, I have to say, a lovely motor. I drove it a while ago and it drove like new - I can vouch for it having been looked after. I'll miss it too

This a very nice car, well-looked after. I have never used it on a track day and it has always been run on Shell Optimax or Super Unleaded. I have just put brand new Toyo Proxes P-1S tyres on it.
Although service is coming up at some point, it had the cambelt changed at 45k so will not need doing this time. Have a good quote to do the service as well. Have all the receipts for everything as well as the CD-ROM for the Clifford Alarm. Has been kept in an underground car park or covered car park for the last 18 months and a private driveway before that.
The mods are all removeable if you wish and I have all the original pieces - spoiler, exhaust, a K&N Induction Kit is going as well (not been used on the car by me - last owner had it in April 2002).
Any more information, please call me on 07968 120721 whenever you like. I am thinking of getting my replacement car pretty soon (as I have found it now) and therefore it will be in a private driveway with no more miles being added to it
Not now in a hurry therefore to sell, so let me know if you're interested.
Please ask for photos ONLY if you want to see the car, NOT any other reason please as it is time consuming to send them.
Any other queries, please ask.
