I have owned the car for almost 3 years now and it has been the most enjoyable and reliable car I ever had. I have spent around £6000 on improving the car.
There has been alot of work carried out to make this Impreza perform like no other.
The car has had some respectable mods done to improve the performance. As you can see from the list below I have taken the tried an tested route of improving the engines breathing and reducing inlet air temps by installing the sti8 Intercooler. These mods are nothing without the help of Andy Forest who done a wounderful job of mapping the car![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
.
I have also taken the step to tame this power by upgrading the stock brakes with a set of Silver Brembo 4 pot calipers and Red-dot 325mm 20 groove discs on alloy bells at the front. At the rear I replaced the discs and had a set of ebc red stuff pads fitted. Using dot 5.1 and braided hoses all round helps to improve the overall feel of the brakes.
The next step was a trip to Power Station for their 4 wheel laser geometry alignment and while I was there I had the bumpsteer mod done and Eibach springs. Totally transformed the car, improved cornering speed and stability and reduced the understeer
.
The original buckets have been replaced by FK lightweight bucket seats very supportive and only 5.5kg![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
The car has enjoyed mobile 1 motorsport every 3000miles and has just had a major service including oils, coolant, plugs.
