This is how driving should be, exciting!
I’ve owned my Scooby for nearly 3 years. I purchased it from Bell & Colvill Motorsports in Surrey and as you can imagine it’s be mod’ed considerably and looked after.
I met the chap from Bell & Colvill in a car park at Hemel Hempstead. I was waiting in a nearby coffee shop. I could here the car approach with that low characteristic growl, it looked wonderful in metallic green and shiny gold alloys.
Do you remember that feeling when you got your first car? Well, this wasn’t my first car by a long shot but, it was definitely the fastest and still is the most exciting car I’ve owned.
I went for a short drive with the guy from Bell & Colvill driving, he engaged the 1st stage GReddy electronic turbo boost and my God, I thought we were going to take off! This car is seriously quick. After a while we returned to our meeting point and the deal was done. I ran into Tescos and immediately commenced an insurance policy for my Scooby – what excitement!!
We then drove to Hemel Hempstead railway station where the chap from Bell & Colvill got a train back to Surrey. Nervously I sat in the driver’s seat and made the necessary adjustments – God was I nervous.
I started the engine and gingerly approached the junction of the main road. I was turning right heading for the M25 and Wales and had to cross the main flow of traffic. It was very busy and when I saw my chance I put my foot down and the car launched forward at an amazing rate – I nearly hit the kirb the other side of the road. This car needed to be learned!!
I enjoyed a most fantastic drive back to Wales which gave me time to get accustomed to the car. The car accelerates like a bullet, fantastic to drive and the sound of the dump valve on gear changes was like music. The accompanying roar of the exhaust is wonderful. I knew I was going to love this car.
Nearly 3 years on and I still love getting into the Scooby for each trip. Driving in traffic used to be a bind, this car makes it a joy!
Why do I tell you all this? Well, if you enjoy driving now, even if you’ve driven quick cars before, driving this Scooby takes the enjoyment into a new league.
If you’re thinking about buying a Scooby, give me a call, come and see it, come and have a ride in it, you’ll love it and buy it

Thats my old car and i loved it to bits i sold it for a Evo 5 but i wish i kept it after all the time and money i put into it.
I still think its the best car i have ever owned and if i had the money i would buy it back.
