Exclamation My Ver 5 STi Type R For SALE!!!!!!!! REDUCED PRICE

Hiya people.
I'm putting my ver 5 sti type r up for sale(1999). Its grey. 44k miles on clock. Mot till april 2006 and tax till dec 2005. The car has no expense spared on it. I've had the car for 15 months. The car was originally imported from new by David Hendry Cars. There have been 3 previous owners.

Its got a fsh. I changed the cambelt, maf and lambda sensor at 39k miles. Also all the diff and gearbox oils were changed at 36k.

The car has always been run on optimax with ob.

Got all the usual type r extras such as ac, close ratio 5 speed box with dccd, water spray on intercooler, electric windows and mirrors.

The car has RAC Trackster and a car 1 alarm and immobiliser.

The car spec is as follows:
Engine:
TD05/06 20g turbo
550cc injectors
SX Fuel Pressure Regulator
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Helix uprated top mount intercooler designed for an sti 8
Blitz induction kit with custom heat shield
Blitz dump valve
H&S 3" open neck downpipe (exhaust wrapped)
Equal length headers and uprated uppipe (exhaust wrapped)
Blitz Nur Spec r exhaust system with bung
Ecutek mapped by Andy F

Transmission:
Lateral Performance paddle clutch

Brakes:
AP 6 Pots with Godspeed 335mm grooved discs (Only done about 2k on these)
Ferodo pad

Chassis mods:
Tanabe coilovers
Powerstation anti bump steer modification
Powerstation geometry set up

Interior:
Oil pressure, oil temperature, boost pressure and air/fuel ratio Autometer gauges
Knocklink sensor
Blitz Spec S boost controller
Kenwood cd head unit and speakers all round.

Exterior:
Morette headlight conversion
PIAA driving lamps
Carbon Fibre bonnet
17" Black Rota wheels with Toyo T1S tyres
Tinted windows
Destickered
Clear front indicators and side repeaters

The car has been excellent and has never let us down. Estimated power is 350bhp +++++++ Not managed to put on rollers yet. 12.3 at Santa Pod with room for improvement.

The car is in really good condition. There are some stone chips on the front bumper and a few pin dents in the drivers door. Otherwise a really good condition car.

REDUCED PRICE £12300 BARGAIN!!!!..... Either pm me, email me at sliced_n_diced@hotmail.com. or telephone me on 07946799289.

The pictures below were taken before we put the original sti spec rear lights on and the brakes on...

I can vouch for the engine in this one runs really sweet and was a rewarding one to tune.

Good luck with the sale.

Smile Version 5 type r

Are you having much luck with selling car? I too am selling my type r version 5 and was advised by Miguel at New Era imports to sell at 13750 like yours. My spec is very similar to yours but less mileage. I have had nothing but abusive emails telling me to get a life trying to sell a seven year old scooby for this price! Just wondered if you were having much luck?

Unfortunately this is where the market is now at, in terms of price, and prospective buyers

Good luck with the sale

I was to buy this car for £12750. Saw it loved it, Sold my VX220, and unfortunatly the insurance let me down. 2 Days straight of trying to get insured and cheapest i got was 4k on my dads name

This car is amazing if you want a Impreza this is the one to buy, my friend is a bodywork specialist and he saw it with me, he could not believe how tidy it was.

This car is worth 12750 and more, go see it and you will want to buy it!

Might be worth suggesting insurance options for any potential buyer, and what you pay? Great car but some may be put off by ins. Might not be that bad!

mb..... i think i will double check from now on.. i do ask potential buyers if they have had quotes because it isnt the easiest car to get insured.

Sorry, I meant it might be worth giving people an idea of what you pay for ins. Potential buyers will have a better idea then. I imagine its not as bad as people might think, esp with people like Greenlight etc..
