I still cant believe the ****ty values quoted in car mags, when cars of my spec are up for 18's at dealers and ~ a grand less private (in Autotrader).
Thanks anyway for thread.

Nice car, Just bought one from a dealer £15,500 with slightly less milage in black, what with the new shape coming out soon the residuals have already started to drop, good luck with the sale.

Dave,
Must be a non PPP version for that money at a dealer.
Enjoy the car.
Incidentally, I was just offered £15,250 trade by a local turbo centre. I'm still holding out for the right price for my imaculate example.
Cheers,
Madchemist.

Steve,
I would appreciate if you could keep these kinds of comments to yourself and not post them on this "For sale" forum.
This only serves to undermine peoples efforts to sell their cars for a reasonable price and will in fact de-value current scooby owners cars.
Like I said, a london turbo centre offered me £15,250 without even seeing the car and my local Subaru dealer offered me £14,000 (not part-exchange).
Anyone who thinks they can get a great deal on an immaculate MY03 STi PPP for 12-14 K should take alook at the Subaru web-site, where most year older 2002 (Bug-eye) STi's without PPP are up for £16000!
Nuff said.
Madchemist (not that mad as to give my car away)

Thanks Mark.
It'll be a long 5 weeks with only the girlfriends Clio 182 for comfort. I hope living without a turbo wont be too difficult either!
Cheers,
Madchemist.

Only down-side for me is the awfull driving position. As I'm over 6 ft I have to "gurn" like a mad thing to reach 5th!
Still, I think the little Clio has surprised many drivers of suposed faster cars. A Clio with a turbo, now that does sound interesting - KTEC Racing here I come.
Cheers,
Madchemist.
