Ford Ka Collection
2001 51-Reg
Metallic Silver (including colour coded bumpers and mirrors)
29k miles with full Ford service history
MOT until September 2006
Road Tax until September 2006
1 previous owner (my wife is the second registered owner)
Standard Features
Airbag steering wheel
Power steering
Central locking
Remote boot release button
Ford Ka carpet mats
Ford Ka cargo net for boot
Rear headrests
Extras
14" Ford alloy wheels (Michelin tyres with good tread)
Air Conditioning (still very cold!)
6 disc Sony CD changer (works with standard headunit)
Uprated front brake pads
Repairs
Heater valve - Common fault, repaired under warrenty 2002
Leaking PS fluid/Steering rack - Common fault, repaired and fitted correctly (unlike leaving the factory) 2005
Bad Points
Trolley dent in front offside wing (see picture)
Slight scuff in the rear plastic arch (see picture)
Minor alloy wheel kerbing
Good Points
All common faults have been repaired properly, long MOT and tax, so just get in and drive.
This is a great commuter car, averaging 42-45mpg on normal unleaded fuel.
Excellent handling, reasonable load area with the rear seat folded down.
Insurance group 3!!![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
3 Star EuroNCAP rating, which is pretty good for a car of this size.
Cheap servicing (£120 for a minor and £180 for a major... at a Ford dealer!)
Reason for sale
Not the usual house purchase or new baby reason! My wife has the Forester to use as her "mum bus" and my commute has gone from 8 miles per day around town, to 40 miles per day of fast A-roads! So time for something a little faster!![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Car can be viewed either in Kingston, Surrey (Evenings & weekends) or Woking, Surrey (daytime)
£3000 - Part exchange considered on Honda Integra (DC2) or Honda Civic Type R, other cars considered.

Andy I'm surprised you haven't sold this yet, my daughter bought one about 6 months ago after we looked at loads. We found it very difficult to find genuine low mileage cars that hadn't been in a prang.
Yours looks very nice.

Good luck with the sale of your car, it's priced fairly, has sensible modifications and looks very well looked after!

But as this is scoobynet, being priced right, looking right, and having the right mods isnt enough lol people expect something for nothing

Hope you find a buyer soon

Price from www.wisebuyer.co.uk - This price is for a standard Ka Collection with 29k miles, without air conditioning and without the alloy wheels.
Price from www.parkers.co.uk - This price is for a standard Ka Collection with 40k miles, without air conditioning and without the alloy wheels.
Looking at the prices on Wisebuyer, Parkers, Autotrader, Pistonheads, Loot, Ebay and Exchange & Mart, I believe £3000 is a very good price for this car!
