Good luck on selling your car, I've been trying to sell mine MY04 STI Type UK 12k miles, PPP, 18" P-WRCs, Prodrive spring kit, strut brace and a list of other bits and bobs (all aftermarket), immaculate condition blah blah blah.

The most I've been offered is 16k and 10k of that was in the form of a P/X.

The dealer I bought it from offered me 14k trade.

Other than that zippo.

I know you've done alot to the car, but the 14k I got offered from the dealer is based on a standard STI, when I reminded him of the 4.5k of aftermarket extras (supplied by them) he offered me 14.5k!!!

I know you have done alot to you car, but I fear that maybe apart from the Subaru aftermarket extras, like PPP, wheels etc, all the other stuff you have done and spent won't add anything to the value of the car.

So at 19,750 I wish you alot of luck.

I'm not being negative, I started out with the same level of enthusiasm and put mine up for 18.5k and I may as well have put the 'for sale' advert on the moon, for the amount of response I've had.

The problem I have found is that:
- Around Christmas is traditionally the worst time to sell.
- Subaru have the new 2006 2.5l model in thier showrooms.
- The MY06 model can be imported RHD from Cyprus for 20k.

I know there are arguments 'for' and 'against' each of the above, but at the moment I am considering keeping mine.

What pisses me right off is that if I did give it to the dealer for 14.5k, the next day it would be on his forcourt for 20k.

Ce la vie

Shame you wasn't ready to sell a week or so ago, I just bought a MY05 (which is fab) for £18.5 with extra's. Sure we could have come to some arrangement.....
