Asking price £5000 ono
12 Months MOT Taxed till August
Selling my classic due to recent purchase of STI 8, I have owned my classic since Aug 2003 when it had done 48K miles and a full Subaru service history including cam belt change. Although I have had it serviced by a friends garage since, it has by know means been neglected. I have always changed the oil every 4K miles as well as all standard servicing procedures. Recently changed gearbox lubricants(new clutch), diff lubricants and brake fluid (brake upgrade). This was the white Scooby in the BBO 2005 vid posted by Fast Frank last year, although it looks cosmetically different now! It has now done 82K miles - about 20K on the motorway commuting since I purchased it.
Here is a list of the upgrades/changes that have been applied to the vehicle,
Engine/Drivetrain/Handling
1- Already came with a larger hybrid front entry turbo (not sure what model)
2- STI Intercooler and hard pipe (still have original)
3- APS Induction kit (filter sits inside wing)
4- Oil catch tank
5- Grounding kit
6- Exedy 230mm Organic clutch
7- Lightweight (half the standard) billet steel flywheel
8- S/S Equal length manifold (still have original)
9- S/S Turbo up-pipe
10- HKS Exhaust de-cat downpipe (still have original) with lambda sensor
11- De-cat centre section
12- Milltek backbox
13- APEXI ECU installed last summer and mapped by Andy Forrest running
1.2 Bar of boost and standard injectors at only 75% of their capacity as
I told Andy to keep it safe and reliable as I did not want to push the
engine to hard. (he scared me when he asked me what I wanted it to
do!!) - still have original
14- Uprated brakes on front to 4 pots with Black Diamond groove & drilled
disks(new pads last month) and uprated rear calipers to accomodate
vented, grooved and drilled Black Diamond disks
15- Goodrige S/S braided brake hoses to all calipers
16- Cusco front strut brace
17- Rear strut brace
18- Dump valve
19- New Battery
20- Gearstick short shifter
21- 18" Prodrive replica wheels (WR1 Style) in Anthracite with very good
tyres all around
Bodywork/Styling
22- Alluminium bonnet
23- Larger bonnet scoop(but smaller than STI 8) -meshed
24- WRC style roof scoop (meshed)
25- Alluminium boot lid - delocked
26- STI 7 style rear spoiler with high level brake light
27- STI 4 three piece front lower lip/spoiler
28- JDM Spash guards
29- Crystal Headlamps
30- " Spotlights
31- " Sidelights
32- " Front indicators(Silvatec bulbs)
33- " Side repeaters (Silvatec bulbs)
34- Blue grill emblem
35- LED Afterburner style rear lights (still have originals)
36- JDM Power folding mirrors
37- Greddy Double gauge pod on A-Pillar (removed 60mm Defi's)
38- S/S Dash clocks surround
39- White faced dash clocks which at night can be electronically changed
to various shades from blue to green and also the brightness
40- Colour coding to interior to some dash parts
41- Colour coded mirrors and sills
42- Full graphics kit (can be easily removed prior to sale if required)
43- Dark tint to rear windows and slight tint to front (applied last January)
44- I hate to say it, but also full underbody red neon kit (to please younger
brother) operated via remote control
It is secured by a Cobra Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm/Immobiliser which I have the certificate for to please the insurers.
I only purchased my new Scooby as I have a newborn daughter who I needed Aircon and Isofix seats for, she was the reason I recently had my Classic's windows tinted.
Lots of other nice touches done as well and forgotten about!
Please PM any interest or phone me on 0787-550-6072 (Dave) or email to d.mcl@blueyonder.co.uk
I will email photos as I don't know how to post them up here!!!
Thanks for looking.
PS. I am only looking for a cash sale- if I am unsuccessful I may sell/swap some parts but would prefer not to- I'd rather he goes to new caring home complete.

Hi mate,
I'm loving the car...really interested. Unfortunately, I'm away from tonight until Monday but if it's still for sale next week I may well pop down and have a look. I work in Liverpool so shouldn't be a problem coming to view it.
Cheers!
